Make your own game

Squad Blitz was built by Greytk with the Cinevva game creator: describe the game you want in chat, watch it get built, and play it in your browser minutes later.

Remix Squad Blitz opens the real game in the creator and forks its actual files, chat and design doc, so you start from the code rather than from a description.

Read the build brief for Squad Blitz

Cinevva's analyzer read this game's design doc and its source, then wrote the brief below. "Make your own" hands it to the game creator as your opening message, so you start from a real spec rather than a one-line idea.

Create a browser-based local 1v1 arena shooter called “Squad Blitz” using a dark neon Three.js-style 3D presentation. The playfield is a circular raised arena about 18 units in radius, viewed from a high, angled perspective by a perspective camera that follows the midpoint between the two players. Use a near-black navy background with subtle fog, a dark blue-gray cylindrical arena floor, a glowing cyan torus rim around its edge, and a faint blue grid across the floor. Place ten chunky polygonal sci-fi pillars around the perimeter, alternating dark blue and purple tones, with soft shadows. Light the scene from above with cool ambient lighting and emissive neon accents.

There are exactly two playable capsule-like sci-fi characters. Player 1 is cyan/blue and starts at the left side of the arena; Player 2 is orange and starts at the right. Each character is a small hovering/standing capsule body with a forward-facing rectangular blaster and a soft circular ground shadow. Players move freely on the arena plane, are constrained inside the circular boundary, and aim automatically in their current movement direction. If a player is not moving, retain their previous aim direction. Player 1 uses WASD to move and F to shoot. Player 2 uses the arrow keys to move and / to shoot. Support simultaneous keyboard input for both players. Shooting creates small glowing spherical projectiles in the matching player color, traveling in the aim direction. Shots have a short cooldown of about 0.26 seconds, move quickly, expire after about 1.4 seconds or when leaving the arena, and disappear when they hit the opponent. Each hit removes 20 health, with players beginning each round at 100 HP. Show a brief expanding colored ring flash at the impact position and briefly brighten/flash the struck player.

Structure the match as rounds: when one player reaches 0 HP, the surviving player takes the round and gains one win. Pause the action for roughly 1.6 seconds while showing a respawn/countdown message, then reset both players to their starting sides, restore full health, and begin the next round. The first player to reach 5 round wins wins the match. At match end, stop the round, return to the lobby/menu, and show a prominent bottom winner banner reading “[name] wins the match!”. The HUD should update continuously with both player names, live HP, and win counts.

Build a glassy, responsive overlay UI on top of the 3D scene. At the top, show a blue-bordered score card for Player 1 on the left and an orange-bordered score card for Player 2 on the right, each displaying the name and text such as “HP 100 · Wins 0”. Center them with a translucent status card showing the round state (“Press Start”, “Round 1”, “Player takes the round”, or “Match Over”) and a small controls/status line. The initial/default names are “Blaze” and “Nova”; allow each name to be edited in a lobby form with a maximum of 12 characters, trimming whitespace and falling back to those defaults if blank.

The lobby is a centered dark translucent rounded panel titled “Squad Blitz”, with the subtitle “Fast local 1v1 shooter — add your friends to the roster and battle on one screen.” Include two side-by-side name fields labeled Player 1 and Player 2, an “Add Both Names to Friends” button, and a prominent blue-to-purple gradient “Start Match” button. Include a Friends List section with the instruction “Tap a name to drop it into the next slot.” If there are no saved names, show a message explaining that no friends are saved yet and that the user should type names and press the add button. Saved names appear as rounded quick-pick chips; clicking a chip fills the next player-name slot, alternating between Player 1 and Player 2. Persist this local roster in browser localStorage, de-duplicate names, and retain at most 12 entries. This is explicitly a local friend list, not online accounts or networking. Include a controls card stating Player 1: WASD move, F shoot; Player 2: Arrow keys move, / shoot; First to 5 wins takes the match. Pressing Enter from the lobby should also start a new match.

Make the visual style polished and arcade-like: Inter/Russo One typography, rounded translucent navy panels, thin white borders, blur/backdrop-glass effects, cyan and orange team colors, neon emissive projectiles and arena edge, and responsive layout. On narrow screens, stack the top HUD vertically, put the center status first, and make the two name fields one column. Keep the camera and arena visible behind the menu, and use smooth camera following rather than a fixed orthographic view. Do not add networking, AI opponents, extra weapons, health pickups, obstacles inside the arena, mobile touch controls, or mechanics beyond the described local two-player movement, shooting, rounds, match scoring, and local friend-name roster.
