the boost bar being right at the top makes me wonder how much you want the timing to matter. if holding it at any safe moment works tho, i'd probably want a clearer reason to save it.

I like the boost mechanic, it adds depth to the gameplay. The controls seem to be backwards, pressing A makes you go right and pressing D makes you go left.
