Make your own game

Skybound Coins was built by Dudu Bento with the Cinevva game creator: describe the game you want in chat, watch it get built, and play it in your browser minutes later.

Remix Skybound Coins opens the real game in the creator and forks its actual files, chat and design doc, so you start from the code rather than from a description.

Read the build brief for Skybound Coins

Cinevva's analyzer read this game's design doc and its source, then wrote the brief below. "Make your own" hands it to the game creator as your opening message, so you start from a real spec rather than a one-line idea.

Create a browser-based 3D third-person platforming game titled “Skybound Coins.” Use Three.js or an equivalent real-time 3D engine with a perspective camera following a small rounded toy-like humanoid character from behind and slightly above. The world is an open bright sky-blue space with atmospheric blue fog and no visible ground, giving the impression of floating platforms high in the air. Use soft directional sunlight, ambient fill light, shadows, and a polished colorful low-poly/toy asset style. Platforms should look like chunky wooden/plank-like floating platforms as shown, while their collision surfaces are rectangular and solid.

Build one short ascending route of six floating platforms, arranged progressively farther away and higher than the starting platform. The starting platform is centered near the player and is approximately 4.4 by 3.4 units. Then place platforms around positions corresponding to: about (x=3.8, height=2.1, depth=-2), (-1.2, height=4.4, depth=-5), (3.2, height=6.8, depth=-7.5), (-2, height=9.2, depth=-10), and (2.4, height=11.8, depth=-13). Platforms should alternate left and right and vary in size around 3–4 units wide and 2.4–2.8 units deep. Make platforms 2–6 move continuously back and forth: some along the x axis and some along the depth/z axis, using smooth sinusoidal motion with ranges roughly 2–3 units and speeds around 0.75–1.0. The first platform remains stationary.

Place exactly 10 gold coins along the route, attached to platforms so they move with their platform. Distribute them in pairs on the early platforms and individually on later platforms, with small local offsets so they are visibly separated. Coins should hover about one unit above their platform, rotate continuously around their vertical axis, and bob subtly up and down. When the player comes within roughly 1.05 units of a coin, collect it, hide it, and increment the score. The goal is to collect all 10 coins.

The player starts above the center of the first platform at approximately y=2. Give the character third-person controls: WASD and arrow keys move, Space jumps, and provide touch joystick support on mobile. Use responsive platformer physics with movement speed around 5.2, jump speed around 8.4, gravity around -24, and ordinary platform collision. Use idle, walk, jump, and fall character animation states if supported. If the player falls below y=-5, immediately respawn them at the starting position. There are no enemies, attacks, health, weapons, timer, or other hazards beyond falling and the moving platforms.

Overlay a fixed HUD on top of the game. In the upper-left, show a dark translucent rounded panel reading “COINS 0 / 10,” updating as coins are collected. In the upper-right, show a yellow rounded “Restart” button with dark text and a subtle darker bottom shadow. Along the bottom center, show a dark translucent rounded hint reading “WASD / arrows to move · Space to jump · touch joystick on mobile.” Restart must reset the score to zero, restore all coins, return the player to the starting platform, and hide any completion message. Once all 10 coins are collected, stop active gameplay progression and show a centered dark translucent rounded dialog with the heading “All coins collected!” and smaller text “Tap Restart to play again.” Keep the overall presentation clean, cheerful, minimal, and faithful to the screenshot: blue sky background, floating warm wood-colored platforms, shiny gold coins, soft shadows, and the small pale rounded player character.
