Make your own game

Sky Rings was built by Mariana Muntean with the Cinevva game creator: describe the game you want in chat, watch it get built, and play it in your browser minutes later.

Remix Sky Rings opens the real game in the creator and forks its actual files, chat and design doc, so you start from the code rather than from a description.

Cinevva's analyzer read this game's design doc and its source, then wrote the brief below. "Make your own" hands it to the game creator as your opening message, so you start from a real spec rather than a one-line idea.

Create a playable 3D arcade flying game titled “Sky Rings.” Use a bright, stylized low-poly Three.js-like presentation with a sky-blue background and light atmospheric fog. The camera is a smooth third-person chase camera positioned behind and slightly above a small airplane, looking forward along its flight path. The airplane is centered near the lower part of the view and consists of a rounded white capsule-like fuselage, a red pointed nose, broad blue horizontal wings, a smaller blue tailplane, and a small upright blue tail fin. It flies continuously forward through open sky; the player does not control forward motion.

The core goal is to steer the plane through a sequence of large floating golden-yellow torus rings. Place 12 rings ahead in the flight corridor, each at varying horizontal and vertical positions, with modest random rotations and roughly 14 units of spacing along the forward axis. Rings should be visibly bright/emissive gold. A ring is successfully collected when the plane crosses its depth and the plane’s center is within approximately 3.15 world units of the ring center; then count it and turn that ring bright green. Increase the forward speed slightly after each successful ring, capped at a faster arcade-flight speed. If the plane passes a ring without being close enough—specifically, once it is more than about 2.2 units beyond the ring depth—end the flight with a stall/crash state. There is no combat, shooting, health, or enemy system.

Use WASD or the arrow keys to steer horizontally and vertically: left/right move the plane on X, up/down move it on Y. Clamp the plane to a broad playable area, approximately X -15 to 15 and Y -10 to 14. Give the aircraft a subtle banking/tilting animation in response to steering. The plane begins around (0, 0, 8), while the rings extend ahead toward negative Z. After rings pass far behind the plane, recycle them to a new random position far ahead so the flight can continue indefinitely. Reset returns the score and speed to their starting values, repositions the plane, regenerates/repositions the rings, and clears the game-over state.

Build an airy sky environment: a pale blue sky, soft white clustered spherical clouds at different distances and heights, gentle fog, bright hemisphere lighting and a strong directional sun with shadows. Add a distant green ground plane far below the flight path, around Y=-18. Include the decorative floating bakery display visible in the scene: a small tan/golden cylindrical floating island around the left side of the route, with several imported or equivalent stylized baked-goods props on it (a cut birthday cake, a birthday cake slice, a chocolate cake, and a loaf of bread). This is scenery only and must not affect gameplay.

Overlay a fixed HUD. At the upper-left show a dark translucent rounded pill labeled “SKY RINGS” in bold white text. At the upper-right show “RINGS 0” initially, with the number updating as rings are passed and yellow/gold text. Near the upper center show the instruction “WASD / ARROWS to steer · fly through the rings”; fade or hide it after the player first uses a control. On desktop, hide touch controls. On narrow/mobile screens, show two translucent directional pads along the bottom: one with arrow buttons and one with WASD-style directional buttons, including a central circular button in the arrow pad; holding these buttons should steer the same way as keyboard input. Prevent page scrolling while using controls. When a crash occurs, show the message “STALL! Tap restart to fly again” and a prominent bottom-centered rounded yellow button labeled “RESTART FLIGHT.” Keep the clean, colorful, minimal arcade UI and the unobstructed full-screen 3D flight view.
