Make your own game

Rooftop Kite was built by Mohamad mhajna (mohamad mhajna) with the Cinevva game creator: describe the game you want in chat, watch it get built, and play it in your browser minutes later.

Remix Rooftop Kite opens the real game in the creator and forks its actual files, chat and design doc, so you start from the code rather than from a description.

Cinevva's analyzer read this game's design doc and its source, then wrote the brief below. "Make your own" hands it to the game creator as your opening message, so you start from a real spec rather than a one-line idea.

Create a browser-based 3D arcade game titled "Rooftop Kite" using Three.js or an equivalent real-time 3D engine. The game is viewed from a third-person perspective behind and slightly above a player-controlled kite, with a smooth follow camera. Build a large flat dark gray rooftop platform, approximately square, with a darker raised trim along its front edge, a circular helipad marking on the left side, and a dark rooftop vent box on the right with three bright cyan vertical pipes. Place a few low-poly commercial city buildings around and behind the rooftop to form a skyline. Use a bright pale-blue sky, light atmospheric fog, soft shadows, and a clean low-poly stylized aesthetic. The provided UI screenshot has a very dark navy presentation background while the 3D scene loads; once rendered, the scene should use the sky-blue Three.js environment described here.

The player avatar is a colorful diamond-shaped kite suspended ahead of the rooftop: make the sail a flat yellow diamond, with a red horizontal cross-spar, a white vertical spine, and a cyan tail extending behind it. Connect the kite to a fixed hand/string point near the front of the rooftop with a thin semi-transparent white line. Start the kite at approximately x=0, y=5, z=1.8, while the camera starts around (0, 6.5, 12) and follows it. The kite flies forward along negative Z through a gentle route of six glowing cyan-blue collectible rings positioned approximately at (0,5,-4), (4,6,-12), (-4,8,-20), (6,10,-29), (-3,11,-38), and (4,13,-48). Rings are toruses, rotate slowly, and pulse subtly in size. When the kite comes within roughly 1.35 world units of a ring, hide that ring, increment the collected-ring score, and add a 12-meter bonus to the distance.

Core gameplay: before launch, show an idle kite and an instruction to launch. Pressing the LAUNCH button starts the flight; movement input also starts it. While flying, the kite continuously moves forward and the distance counter increases. Default flight speed should ease toward about 3.2 units/second; holding BOOST (Space or Shift, or the on-screen BOOST button) should ease the speed toward about 5.2. Steer left/right with ArrowLeft/ArrowRight or A/D, and steer vertically with ArrowUp/ArrowDown or W/S. Add a constant gentle eastward wind drift (positive X, about 0.6, shown as an up-right/E direction) so the player must compensate. Horizontal steering should be about 4.2 units/second plus wind drift, vertical steering about 3.6 units/second. Clamp the kite within x=-7..7 and y=2.2..13.5. Tilt the kite visually while steering: roll toward the opposite/appropriate left-right direction and pitch slightly with up/down input. Keep the white string updated from the rooftop anchor to the moving kite. End the run when the kite passes z=-52, stopping flight and showing a replay state; tapping REPLAY should reset the kite to its start position, reset distance and score, make every ring visible again, and restore the LAUNCH label.

Use a responsive overlay HUD with no pointer interaction blocking the 3D view except for controls. At the upper left, show a rounded translucent dark panel with the uppercase title "ROOFTOP KITE" and a large distance readout such as "0 m". At the upper right, show a matching panel with the hint text "Arrow keys / WASD steer the kite · collect the blue rings · catch the wind". Near the upper center, show the state message: initially "Tap LAUNCH to fly", during play "Guide the kite through the rings", and after reaching the end "Nice run — tap LAUNCH to reset". Under it show wind status in small pale-blue text, formatted like "Wind: E ↗ · 14 km/h"; compute the displayed speed around 8–14 km/h based on the wind value. At the lower left, provide four rounded dark translucent directional buttons with white triangular icons (left, right, up, down), followed by a BOOST button. At the lower right, provide a prominent rounded yellow/gold LAUNCH button with dark bold text; it changes to FLYING during play and REPLAY at the end. Support both keyboard controls and pointer/touch controls, including press-and-hold behavior for the direction and boost buttons. Use rounded corners, subtle borders, blur/translucency, shadows, white/cyan text, and responsive sizing matching the clean modern arcade HUD in the reference.
