Make your own game

Road Rage Monkey was built by Jay Hall with the Cinevva game creator: describe the game you want in chat, watch it get built, and play it in your browser minutes later.

Remix Road Rage Monkey opens the real game in the creator and forks its actual files, chat and design doc, so you start from the code rather than from a description.

Cinevva's analyzer read this game's design doc and its source, then wrote the brief below. "Make your own" hands it to the game creator as your opening message, so you start from a real spec rather than a one-line idea.

Create a playable third-person 3D arcade game titled “Road Rage Monkey.” The player controls an angry stylized chimpanzee in a small low-poly city block, initially riding a red sedan. Use a follow camera positioned behind and above the current target, with WASD driving/movement and the usual camera-relative third-person controls; allow jumping through the movement controller. The road should run straight along the Z axis as a wide dark asphalt strip, with pale yellow dashed center markings, gray sidewalks on both sides, and green ground beyond them. Place a few simple blocky buildings along the roadside in muted blue-gray, red-brown, and green colors, with rows of bright cyan windows. Add evenly spaced black street lamps with warm yellow-orange rectangular lights on one side. Use bright daylight, soft shadows, blue sky, and atmospheric fog that obscures the far end of the road.

Start the player in the car near one end of the road. The player car is a larger sedan model, and populate the road with smashable traffic: several sedans and a couple of taxis positioned in alternating lanes along the road, facing along the road. While driving, ram nearby traffic cars. A collision within roughly three world units damages the other car, nudges the player car away, increases the rage meter, creates a brief full-screen hit flash, and launches colorful small debris particles. Traffic cars should receive a little velocity from impacts, gradually slow down, and continue slowly along the road when not broken. Each traffic car has multiple hit points; after enough impacts it becomes broken, visibly tilts/scales down slightly, and can no longer be damaged. Do not add weapons, enemies, missions, health, timers, or a win condition.

The player can press E to exit the car. Hide the car and show an angry chimpanzee standing beside it, then switch the third-person target to the monkey at a slightly closer follow distance. The monkey should be a simple modeled character with dark brown fur, a rounded torso and head, tan muzzle and ears, glowing yellow eyes under angled dark brows, capsule-like arms and legs, and large fists. On foot, move the monkey around the sidewalks and road; orient it toward its movement direction. Press E again near the car to re-enter it, hide the monkey, restore the car as the target, and return the HUD mode label to driving. While on foot, pressing Space should perform a short smash/punch action; traffic within about 2.8 units takes a heavy hit, causing the same debris, flash, damage, and rage effects as a vehicle collision. The movement controller may also support a jump, but keep the core interaction focused on exiting, punching traffic, and getting back into the car.

Build a fixed HTML HUD over the game. In the upper-left show large bold white text “ROAD RAGE MONKEY.” In the upper-right show a dark translucent rounded panel with an orange border containing a yellow score label formatted as “RAGE 0000” (zero-padded to four digits), a smaller gray mode label initially reading “IN THE RIDE” and changing to “ON FOOT · SMASH MODE,” and an orange pill-shaped instruction label reading “WASD drive · E exit · SPACE boost.” At the bottom center show a dark translucent rounded hint box reading “Cause chaos: ram traffic, drift, run lights, then jump out and go berserk.” When a smash occurs, briefly show a large centered orange/yellow “SMASH!” overlay with a dark red shadow and a momentary screen flash. The rage score should rise by 25 per damage unit and an additional 100 when a traffic car is finally broken, then slowly decay toward zero. Render the scene with soft shadows, ambient/hemisphere lighting, a warm directional sun, glossy/emissive cyan windows, and the dark navy/charcoal UI color palette with orange accents. Ensure the road, traffic cars, buildings, street lamps, monkey, collision effects, state switching, score, and exact HUD text are all visible and functional from the initial ride state.
