Reef Rescue was built by Delaney with the Cinevva game creator: describe the game you want in chat, watch it get built, and play it in your browser minutes later.
Remix Reef Rescue opens the real game in the creator and forks its actual files, chat and design doc, so you start from the code rather than from a description.
Cinevva's analyzer read this game's design doc and its source, then wrote the brief below. "Make your own" hands it to the game creator as your opening message, so you start from a real spec rather than a one-line idea.
Create a browser-based 3D third-person ocean exploration game titled “Reef Rescue.” Use a stylized low-poly/cartoon visual style with a bright cyan-blue ocean, gentle animated waves, soft fog, strong sun and hemisphere lighting, and soft shadows. The playable avatar is a small wooden rowboat/raft viewed from behind and above; use the Kenney Watercraft Pack small row boat asset if available, with a small yellow direction marker above/in front of it. The camera follows the boat at roughly 17 units distance and can be steered by dragging with mouse or touch: horizontal drag rotates the camera yaw, vertical drag adjusts pitch, clamped so the camera remains an elevated third-person view. Movement is relative to the camera direction: WASD or arrow keys move forward/back/left/right, with a base speed of 14, and the boat rotates to face its movement direction. The boat bobs with the waves and stops gradually when input is released. Build a circular playable ocean area with radius about 58 units, visibly marked by a thin white ring and approximately 28 alternating white/orange floating boundary buoys. Keep the boat inside the boundary; when it reaches the edge, constrain it inward and bounce/reduce its velocity. Place seven rescue supply pickups at these world positions: (-20,-15), (17,-18), (-34,16), (7,30), (30,10), (-7,43), and (24,-38). Each supply is a floating rescue buoy combined with a small crate, has a warm yellow point-light glow, bobs and slowly rotates, and is automatically collected when the boat comes within 2.6 units; then hide it and increment the counter. The objective is to collect all 7 supplies. Add three animated sharks using a low-poly shark character asset. Start them at approximately (-30,-28), (30,-8), and (-10,34). Each shark follows a patrol route: shark one cycles through (-30,-28), (-10,-40), (-38,-8); shark two through (30,-8), (44,22), (15,25); shark three through (-10,34), (-36,34), (-28,5). Sharks swim with their available swim animation and turn toward their current target. If the boat comes within 22 units, a shark chases it at about 1.55 times its patrol speed; if within 5.2 units use a bite/fast animation when available. Contact within 3.1 units damages the player for 18 health, with a one-second damage cooldown. The three sharks should remain inside the ocean boundary. Health starts at 100; reaching zero ends the game with a loss message. Also place four optional helper pickups. Put green repair crates at (-10,-4) and (-42,28); collecting one within 2.7 units consumes it and restores 35 health, capped at 100. Put purple flare pickups at (34,-24) and (12,43), visually represented by a crate plus a purple buoy/flag, colored purple with a glowing pickup ring. Collecting one consumes it, repels nearby sharks for 8 seconds, and gives the boat a speed boost of 1.35x for 6 seconds. While a flare is active, sharks within 30 units flee away from the boat rather than chase it. All pickups should float/bob and have colored glow/rings. After all seven supplies are collected, activate a green safe zone centered at (38,-35). Represent it with a bright green glowing torus/ring on the water, a translucent vertical green beam, and four green flag buoys around it. The player wins by entering within 5.2 units of the safe zone after the supplies are complete. Before completion, the zone should not count as a goal. On winning, stop gameplay and show a centered overlay saying “Rescued!” with text explaining that every supply was collected and the boat reached the safe zone. On loss, show “Shark Bite!” and explain that health reached zero. Include a Restart button that resets health, supplies, helper pickups, shark positions, timers, boat position, and win/loss state. Create a translucent dark-blue rounded HUD over the game. At the top show HEALTH with a horizontal health bar and numeric health, SUPPLIES as “0 / 7” initially, an AID readout showing remaining helper pickups or active flare/speed timer, and a goal/instruction panel. The initial overlay should prominently display “Reef Rescue” and instructions: collect 7 rescue buoys, avoid sharks, then reach the green safe zone; green crates heal and purple flares repel sharks; WASD/arrows move and drag to look. The initial message fades after a few seconds or when the player begins interacting. Keep a small bottom hint reading “Drag to look · WASD/Arrows to move.” Update the goal text to tell the player to collect supplies, explain the green crates and purple flares, and after all supplies are collected say to reach the green safe zone. Use responsive UI styling with rounded panels, white borders, blue translucent backgrounds, and a yellow restart button, matching the screenshot’s clean arcade presentation.
