About Realmbreak

Break big Roblox-style games from the inside: test arenas, UI, fighters, and systems to find what still works when everything starts falling apart.b

How to play

Click the game above and it runs right here in your browser. No download, no installer, no account needed. Batman emoji built it with Cinevva, so it works on a phone or a tablet too.

Make your own game

Realmbreak was built by Batman emoji with the Cinevva game creator: describe the game you want in chat, watch it get built, and play it in your browser minutes later.

Remix Realmbreak opens the real game in the creator and forks its actual files, chat and design doc, so you start from the code rather than from a description.

Read the build brief for Realmbreak

Cinevva's analyzer read this game's design doc and its source, then wrote the brief below. "Make your own" hands it to the game creator as your opening message, so you start from a real spec rather than a one-line idea.

Create a playable original third-person 3D arena fighting game titled “Realmbreak” (subtitle/credit: “Game by Reaperzomi”), set in a dark fantasy/sci-fi rune tournament courtyard. The game should feel like a Roblox-style battleground viewed from behind and above the player, but use entirely original names, visuals, audio, and systems: no Mortal Kombat characters, stages, logos, music, gore, or copied fatality sequences.

WORLD AND CAMERA: Build a circular arena approximately 24 units wide with a dark purple-black stone floor, a bright gold circular boundary ring, alternating dark inlaid rune tiles around the inner ring, eight black obsidian pillars around the perimeter, gold braziers with orange emissive flames and small point lights, purple/red event banners, and a glowing purple gate at the far side labeled by implication as the Reaperzomi Trial entrance. Use a moody near-black violet background, fog, soft shadows, warm directional lighting, cool ambient lighting, and neon purple/gold/cyan accents. Use a smooth perspective third-person camera following behind the player at roughly 8.5 units distance and 6 units height, looking at the player’s upper body. Allow mouse drag/pointer-lock camera rotation on desktop and right-side touch dragging on mobile. Keep both fighters inside the circular arena.

PLAYER AND RIVAL: Represent fighters with simple stylized low-poly humanoids assembled from a capsule-like colored torso, spherical head, contrasting belt/head accent, and a colored circular aura ring on the ground. Spawn the player near one side and an AI rival near the opposite side. The rival automatically walks toward the player and attacks at close range, with a visible quote/taunt toast. Use hit sparks, brief knockback, stun, camera shake, and impact sounds for hits; do not show blood or gore. The player has health, the rival has health, and both health bars are visible in the HUD.

FIGHTERS: Provide exactly seven selectable original fighters, shown in a centered dark translucent “Choose Fighter” panel with rounded outlined cards in a two-column responsive grid. Each card displays the name, style description, weapon, and ultimate:
- Storm Monk — “Fast pressure / lightning palms”; weapon Thunder Staff; ultimate Tempest Overdrive; cyan body with yellow accent.
- Ember Warden — “Flame kickboxing / burn zones”; weapon Cinder Chain; ultimate Solar Breaker; dark ember-red body with orange/yellow accent.
- Frost Ronin — “Sword counters / ice traps”; weapon Frost Blade; ultimate Whiteout Duel; pale icy cyan body with blue accent.
- Shadow Fang — “Dagger rushdown / vanish dash”; weapon Twin Fangs; purple body with very dark accent.
- Iron Oni — “Grappler tank / armor breaks”; weapon Oni Hammer; brown/orange body with silver accent and high health.
- Venom Lotus — “Staff pokes / poison mist”; weapon Lotus Spear; bright green body with dark green accent.
- Rift Nomad — “Portal feints / space kicks”; weapon Void Chakram; pink body with cyan accent.
Give each fighter distinct health, movement speed, and attack power values matching their role; the displayed style names and ultimate names are important, but the current playable combat can use the shared attack framework.

CORE DUEL LOOP: Start in an Arcade Duel with a 180-second round timer. The player moves with WASD or arrow keys, attacks with three actions, and fights the AI until the rival is knocked out or the player is defeated/time expires. Light attack is short-range, low cooldown (about 0.45 sec); Style attack is medium-range with higher damage and about 1.6 sec cooldown; Power attack is longest-range/heaviest attack with about 3.2 sec cooldown and uses the fighter’s weapon identity. Show an action toast such as LIGHT, the fighter style label, or the weapon name. Attacks only connect within their ranges and apply damage, stun, knockback, hit sparks, sound, and small camera shake. Cooldowns must prevent button mashing.

WEAPON AND ULTIMATE: Add a Weapon toggle. Pressing it visibly shows/hides a simple stylized weapon mesh beside the player, updates the player name HUD with the weapon name, and gives attacks additional range and damage while equipped. Add an ultimate meter that charges when the player damages the rival. When full, the player can activate the fighter-specific ultimate; reset the meter, display its name and “12 seconds,” and grant a 12-second empowered state with increased attack damage/range and movement speed. Give the player’s aura a spinning/neon effect during the ultimate.

DEFENSE: Hold Block to reduce incoming damage heavily while consuming block stamina. Block stamina regenerates when not blocking. If Block is newly pressed immediately before an impact, treat it as a parry: briefly stun the rival, reflect a reduced amount of damage, award ultimate meter, flash the aura cyan, and display “PARRY.” Make the HUD show current block stamina percentage and communicate the parry hint in a toast.

FINISHER: Add a non-gory cinematic Finisher Cutscene action. It is available only when the rival is below roughly 22% health and within 4 units. If used, pause normal movement, move the camera to a closer dramatic angle framing both fighters, rotate/stun the rival for about 2.7 seconds, show “FINISHER CUTSCENE,” then set the rival to zero health and process the knockout. This must be an original stylized non-gory victory sequence, not a copied fatality.

PROGRESSION AND EVENTS: On each rival knockout, increment KOs and award 35 Shards; after every fifth KO, start a “Reaperzomi Trial” boss event on the next match. The boss is a dark/black-and-gold enhanced opponent named “Reaperzomi Trial Boss,” with about 190 HP, increased power and faster AI, a visible aura, and a boss-event toast. Defeating it awards 100 Shards, increments Boss wins, and clears the event. On player defeat or time-out, show DEFEATED or TIME, subtract 10 Shards without going below zero, and reset the duel. Track an emote task: every three KOs, randomly unlock one new emote from a pool such as Victory Bow, Shadow Laugh, Thunder Pose, Blade Spin, Arena Flex, Realm Step, Champion Kneel, or Reaperzomi Salute. Begin with Victory Bow unlocked. Include an Emotes & Rewards panel opened by B; selecting an emote briefly shows its name and a simple celebratory scale/pose animation. Keep the systems cosmetic/convenience-oriented rather than pay-to-win.

HUD AND UI: Use a dark translucent glassmorphism interface with rounded corners, thin light borders, soft shadows, bold Inter/Orbitron-like typography, and gold, cyan, violet, green, and red accents. At the top, show player and rival name cards with colored horizontal health bars; center a glowing gold timer; below it show “Arcade Duel • KOs [number] • Shards [number] • Block [percentage]%.” Show an ultimate bar with a violet-to-cyan fill. Include a small task/status line for “Emote task: [x]/3 KOs • Boss wins: [number] • Unlocked: [number]” and a gold “Game by Reaperzomi” credit. Use toast messages near the lower center for attacks, quotes, blocked hits, unlocks, and boss events, plus large centered messages for K.O., DEFEATED, TIME, PARRY, ultimate activation, and FINISHER CUTSCENE.

CONTROLS: Desktop keyboard: WASD/arrow keys move; mouse drag or pointer lock rotates the camera; J=Light, K=Style, L=Power/Weapon attack, U=Ultimate, E=toggle weapon, F=Finisher, I=hold Block/parry, C=character selection, B=emotes, Escape=close panel. Mobile: provide a left directional pad with up/left/down/right arrow buttons and a right action grid with LIGHT, STYLE, POWER, ULT, FINISH, and WEAPON buttons; tapping/holding should map to the same actions and the right side of the canvas should rotate the camera by dragging. Make the layout responsive: on narrow portrait screens stack the center HUD and show the fighter selection panel prominently; on desktop hide the touch controls and show a compact controls hint. The initial state should open the “Choose Fighter” panel over the arena, matching the attached portrait view: a large gold heading, dark rounded fighter cards, the arena dimly visible behind, a quote toast, and the mobile control buttons along the bottom.
