Create a browser-based 3D arcade racing game titled “Rally Drift” using Three.js. The player drives a bright orange sports-rally car around a compact, winding closed circuit on a circular island. Use a third-person chase camera positioned behind and above the car, smoothly following its heading; during the countdown, orbit around the start gate, and briefly switch to a cinematic orbit/photo-finish view at the finish. Render with soft shadows, fog, a muted blue-gray sky/background, bright daylight, and a stylized low-poly racing-kit aesthetic. Build the world as follows: a large circular island/ground disc with a contrasting sandy shoulder, and an approximately 8-unit-wide dark asphalt track laid along a tightly winding Catmull-Rom loop. Put pale edge strips on both sides, small yellow lane dashes, metallic slot rails near the track edges, and tall dark outer and inner safety fences with multiple horizontal rails and regularly spaced red warning lights. Add a start/finish area with a black-and-white tiled finish line, a dark overhead checkpoint gate with two posts, a top beam and glowing yellow-orange banner/lights, plus several glowing yellow rings distributed around the course. Include a jump ramp, pit-wall blocks, moving pit-lane traffic cars, palm trees, a large stepped grandstand, and blocky spectators around the circuit; animate some crowd figures with a subtle cheering sway. Keep the setting colorful but somewhat industrial and stylized rather than photorealistic. The core objective is to complete three laps while competing against three rival AI cars. Start all four cars in a grid at the gate and show a 3-2-1 countdown with three start lights, then “GO!”. Rivals follow the track’s racing path at different speeds and lanes, occasionally using their own boost and firing at the player. Track lap crossings reliably: require the racer to leave the start area before accepting another crossing, use a short crossing cooldown, show the current lap as 1/3 through 3/3, record total time, split time, and best split, and trigger a bright flash, yellow celebratory particles, and a short photo-finish camera sequence when the final lap is completed. Show a results screen with WINNER or RACE COMPLETE, total time, best split, score, standings for YOU and the three rivals, a simple first/second/third podium, and a RESTART RACE button. Driving should feel arcade-like and support keyboard, touch, and mouse-friendly controls. W or Up Arrow accelerates, S or Down Arrow brakes/reverses, A/Left Arrow and D/Right Arrow steer, Space activates nitro, X fires the currently held weapon, and B opens/closes the car’s boot/trunk. On mobile, provide on-screen directional buttons, a draggable steering wheel, BRAKE, FIRE, BOOST, and BOOT buttons. Smoothly accelerate and decelerate the player, cap normal speed and raise the cap while nitro is active, consume nitro while boosting and slowly recharge it otherwise, and implement steering that becomes more pronounced at speed. When steering hard at speed, enter a drift state, generate tire smoke behind the car, and accumulate drift points. Keep the car constrained to the track: leaving the road causes a bounce back toward the nearest track point, speed loss, damage, sparks, and a short crash replay camera. Place collectible glowing rings along the racing line. Driving through a ring makes it disappear, awards 100 points, and cycles the player’s held weapon between none, a blue electric BOLT, and a dark OIL shot. Pressing X fires one forward projectile and consumes the weapon. Projectiles travel visibly through the scene, can hit AI rivals, deal damage and stun them, award 250 points on a hit, and hide/eliminate a rival when its health reaches zero. Rival projectiles can damage the player; if player health reaches zero, hide the player car and show an ELIMINATED result. If all rivals are eliminated while the player survives, end combat with a LAST MAN STANDING result. Add small floating rival name plates and health bars above AI cars. Include projectile cleanup, hit effects, and beeps/arcade feedback. The player car should have visible suspension bounce, a detailed sports-car model recolored orange, and a functional hinged boot lid with a dark interior and a small yellow luggage block that opens when B is pressed. Add engine audio whose pitch follows speed/gear and a simple repeating race melody that begins after user input; include short beeps for countdown, impacts, laps, and eliminations, but make audio safe to start only after browser interaction. Use a dense racing HUD over the 3D view. At the top show the RALLY DRIFT title, a leaderboard listing YOU and RIVAL 1–3 with positions out of 4, centered race metadata for LAP, TIME, HP, and WEAPON, a circular speed gauge in KM/H, current gear, and a secondary line for SPLIT, SCORE, and weapon name. On smaller/mobile layouts show a minimap of the loop with the player and rivals, a nitro bar, engine warning state, and a car damage diagnostic panel with BODY, TIRES, and ENGINE bars. Display a help line stating “WASD / arrows to drive · X fires · SPACE boosts · B opens boot · race music starts with input”. On mobile place translucent touch controls along the bottom and right side; on wide screens hide those touch controls and use the keyboard. Animate the engine warning from ENGINE OK to ENGINE WARNING and ENGINE CRITICAL as engine damage falls. Also include the visible auxiliary tools from the original game: a VEHICLE TUNING panel with sliders for Speed, Accel, Handle, and Tough plus BALANCED, SPEED, and TANK presets; an EDIT WORLD toggle that lets the user click the ground to place glowing cyan box props; a DELETE mode that removes nearby editor props; and a DONE EDITING state. After the race, provide replay controls including a timeline, previous/next racer selection, pause/play, and a REPLAY CAMERA toggle that orbits around the selected racer. Preserve responsive resizing, fog, shadows, glowing emissive lights, smoke, sparks, finish particles, and the overall energetic rally-kart presentation. Do not add unrelated game modes or mechanics beyond this three-lap racing/combat circuit, tuning/editor tools, and replay/results flow.
