Make your own game

Rally Court was built by Ephraim Ihungbe with the Cinevva game creator: describe the game you want in chat, watch it get built, and play it in your browser minutes later.

Remix Rally Court opens the real game in the creator and forks its actual files, chat and design doc, so you start from the code rather than from a description.

Read the build brief for Rally Court

Cinevva's analyzer read this game's design doc and its source, then wrote the brief below. "Make your own" hands it to the game creator as your opening message, so you start from a real spec rather than a one-line idea.

Create a browser-based 3D arcade soccer/air-hockey-style game titled "Rally Court" using Three.js. Show a dark navy background/world with a teal-green rectangular court, viewed from a high, slightly angled third-person camera that follows the blue player near the lower half of the court and looks toward the opposing end. The camera should smoothly track the player's horizontal and vertical court movement, keeping the player and the center of play in view. Use a clean low-poly/neon sports aesthetic with soft shadows, fog, bright cyan/blue and orange accents, and no detailed textures.

Build the court as a flat teal-green rectangular playing surface approximately 14 units wide by 24 units long, enclosed by dark blue low walls on all four sides. Put a thin pale mint center line across the width at the midpoint and a large pale mint circular marking around midfield. At each short end, add a colored goal frame: orange at the far/north end and blue at the near/south end. Each goal is a wide rectangular frame with two vertical posts, a crossbar, and a faint transparent wireframe/net-like rectangle.

Place a controllable blue player on the blue side, initially at (0, 5) on the court, and an orange opponent/bot initially at (0, -5). Represent each player as a simple stylized low-poly humanoid/robot: colored capsule-like body, spherical head, and a small dark visor across the front. Make the blue player glow/catch light cyan-blue and the bot glow/catch light orange. Add a cream-colored soccer ball with a dark ring stripe at midfield, resting just above the surface.

Gameplay is a simple one-ball rally. The player moves in the court plane at roughly 5.5 units/second, constrained inside the walls; movement comes from a large on-screen virtual joystick at bottom left on touch/pointer devices, and also WASD or arrow keys on desktop (W/up moves toward the far end, S/down toward the near end). The player turns to face its movement direction and has a subtle bobbing animation while moving. The orange bot autonomously chases the ball at about 3.2 units/second, constrained to the court, and when close to the ball on its half it kicks/returns it toward the blue side. The player can kick with the on-screen KICK button at bottom right or Space/K on keyboard. A kick only works when the ball is within about 1.8 units of the player, with a short cooldown around a quarter second; send the ball away from the player at about 10 units/second with an upward impulse so it briefly arcs and bounces. If the ball is close to the stationary player and nearly stopped, have it gently settle/lerp toward the player's front.

Simulate gravity on the ball, bounce it on the court with dampening, frictionally slow horizontal motion, and make it rebound from the side walls. When the ball crosses the far goal line, award a point to BLUE; when it crosses the near goal line, award a point to ORANGE. After each goal, briefly show a centered gold rounded notification reading "BLUE SCORES!" or "ORANGE SCORES!", then reset player, bot, and ball positions to their starting locations while retaining the score. Include a Reset match button that immediately clears both scores and restores the starting positions.

Overlay a fixed HUD above the 3D scene. At top center, use a dark translucent rounded panel with a small spaced cyan title "RALLY COURT", a large white score formatted "0 — 0" with blue score on the left and orange score on the right, and the hint text "Drag the joystick · tap KICK". At bottom left show a translucent dark circular joystick base with a cyan movable inner stick. At bottom right show a gold rounded rectangular KICK button with bold dark text, and above it a smaller dark Reset match button. Make the HUD responsive to the viewport and preserve touch-friendly controls. Use lighting from a bright directional light plus a cool hemisphere light, shadows, ACES-style tone mapping, and a perspective camera for the polished minimal 3D presentation.
