Create a playable browser 3D arcade racing game titled “RACEWORLD: LEGACY,” with the subtitle “MIDNIGHT GRAND PRIX.” Use a dark, stylized low-poly aesthetic and a third-person chase camera positioned behind and above the player’s small open-wheel race car. The camera should smoothly follow the car, remain aimed at it, and rotate with its heading; show enough road and opponents ahead to make the race readable.

Build a closed, irregular circuit on a very dark blue-black ground plane. The track is about 10 units wide, made of dark blue-gray slightly reflective road sections with narrow raised pale-blue/gray shoulders/barriers on both sides. Add a broken white center/road marking and a black-and-white checkered start/finish stripe near the start. The environment should feel like a nighttime grand prix: nearly black surroundings, blue ambient lighting, cool directional moonlight, subtle blue point lighting, fog that obscures distant scenery, and restrained wet-looking blue reflections on the road. Place low-poly racing props around the circuit, including repeated barriers, occasional tall light posts, an overhead light structure at the start, and a few simple grandstand structures outside one side of the track. Use shadows and metallic, faceted materials.

There are six cars total: the player and five AI opponents. Use chunky low-poly arcade race cars with visible wheels and simple angular bodies. The player car is teal/cyan-green; opponents include red, white, and green cars. Line the cars up near the start in separate lanes. The player starts at the back/near the start line while AI cars begin slightly ahead, staggered along the starting area. AI cars autonomously follow the closed racing line at a steady arcade pace, maintaining their lane offsets and steering around the bends. Cars should visibly bump/push one another when close rather than passing through each other; a player impact should reduce speed briefly.

The core goal is to complete three laps and finish the race. Begin with a large centered countdown showing 3, 2, 1, then “GO!” in bright green, accompanied by short countdown/start beeps. Only after GO should race time and driving begin. The player drives with W or Up Arrow to accelerate, A/D or Left/Right Arrow to steer, and Space (also S or Down Arrow) to brake. Acceleration should build speed with a capped arcade top speed, braking should strongly reduce speed, and steering should become responsive while moving. Keep the car constrained to the course in a forgiving way: going beyond the road edge should slow the player. Also support touch input: dragging left/right over the canvas steers, and holding W accelerates as indicated by the HUD. Add a simple synthesized engine tone whose pitch/volume rises with speed, plus countdown sounds.

Track progress should be measured around the closed circuit. Count a lap when the player crosses the start area, show the current lap as 1/3 through 3/3, record current lap time, best completed lap time, and total race time. Finish when the player completes three laps. Continue displaying the race view and telemetry at the finish rather than adding unrelated menus or weapons.

Overlay a clean HUD directly over the game with no pointer interaction. At top left show large bold spaced text “RACEWORLD: LEGACY” with a cyan colon and the smaller spaced subtitle “MIDNIGHT GRAND PRIX.” At top right show a small “POSITION” label, a large value such as “P3 / P6,” and “SPEED” followed by the current integer speed and “KM/H”; use a cool cyan accent for the speed. At bottom left use a compact monospace timing block with LAP, CURRENT LAP TIME, BEST LAP TIME, and RACE TIME labels and white values, formatted as MM:SS.mmm; before a best lap exists show “--:--.---.” At bottom right show the instructional text “WASD / ARROWS DRIVE · SPACE BRAKE” and beneath it “Touch: drag left/right to steer · hold W to accelerate.” Keep the HUD white, pale blue, and gray against the dark scene with subtle text shadowing, and make it responsive on narrow screens. The overall presentation should match a moody midnight racing broadcast: sparse, high contrast, cool blue lighting, low-poly cars and trackside geometry, and a smooth arcade driving feel.
