Make your own game

Planet Birth was built by Jamian Jones with the Cinevva game creator: describe the game you want in chat, watch it get built, and play it in your browser minutes later.

Remix Planet Birth opens the real game in the creator and forks its actual files, chat and design doc, so you start from the code rather than from a description.

Read the build brief for Planet Birth

Cinevva's analyzer read this game's design doc and its source, then wrote the brief below. "Make your own" hands it to the game creator as your opening message, so you start from a real spec rather than a one-line idea.

Rebuild a gentle mobile-friendly 3D third-person exploration game titled “Planet Birth,” Chapter One — “The Day the Road Called.” Use an orthographic-feeling but perspective follow camera placed behind and above the player, smoothly tracking the player along a long winding golden dirt road through a bright Green Valley. The scene has a sky-blue background with soft fog, green ground, a crystal-blue river on the left, a simple wooden bridge, scattered pine trees, bushes, grass tufts, and old fence posts. Use a colorful, soft-edged low-poly/cartoon style with warm morning lighting, soft shadows, and occasional glowing objects.

Begin with a full-screen translucent blue/green scene overlay and a centered cream rounded card. The card reads “🌎 Planet Birth,” explains that Catalia closed the Master Blueprint and that Touchie, Puffin, Johnny, Rumblehorn, Cat, and Lunara are ready for their first step, and has a large coral rounded button labeled “Begin the road.” Hide this overlay after pressing the button or Enter/Space.

The playable avatar is Touch, a simple red traveler made from a rounded capsule body, peach spherical head, black travel bag and strap. Start Touch at the bottom of the road around z=-13. Three procedural traveler followers accompany the player: Johnny, a blue traveler; Cat, a pink/flower traveler; and Touch’s other companions Puffin (a small animated fire-chick pet), Rumblehorn (represented by a small animated beaver-like rocky companion), and Lunara (represented by a small animated bunny-like leaf companion). They follow behind the player in loose formation and rotate toward their movement direction. Use simple low-poly character geometry for the travelers and cube-pet-like animated models for the animal companions.

The main goal is to travel north/up the winding golden road, collect exactly six floating healing berries, then approach a patch of tall grass at the far end where two bright yellow glowing eyes are visible. Place the six blue berry collectibles along the road at varied positions from the starting area to the distant end. Each berry should bob gently, rotate slightly, cast a small blue glow, and disappear when Touch comes within about 1.15 world units. Play a soft magical pickup sound and update the counter. After all six are collected, change the quest to “Meet the glowing eyes.” At the tall grass, within about 3.4 units, change the quest to “Press E to greet it.” Pressing E or the on-screen action button removes the glowing-eyes grass object, plays a magical sound, spawns/reveals a friendly animated bunny-like valley companion, changes the quest to “First friend found,” and displays a message explaining that the eyes belong to a shy valley friend, not a monster, and that Chapter One ends with the world opening ahead.

Also build a detailed starting campsite to the left of the road near the player: a green clearing, campfire ring with stones, animated orange/yellow flame and warm light, cooking pot with visible berry stew, lantern post with glowing lantern, two tents, bedrolls, log benches, packed bedroll/travel supplies, baskets/crates for fresh food, water, medicine, and berries, and a black travel bag with a red flap and blue Master Blueprint book. Near the campfire, pressing E or the action button triggers a quiet camping scene message, plays a magical sound, and changes the quest to “Pack up for the road” if fewer than six berries are collected, or “Meet the glowing eyes” once all berries are collected. The message should mention Catalia stretching by the fire, the safely stored Master Blueprint, warm berry stew, waiting bedrolls, and tents marking home for one last quiet moment. If the player presses the action button away from either the camp or glowing eyes, show a temporary “Nothing answers yet” message directing them to the campfire or glowing eyes.

Movement must work with WASD and arrow keys on desktop, and with a large translucent circular virtual joystick at bottom-left on touch screens. Normalize diagonal movement, move Touch at a moderate walking speed, keep the player within the valley bounds, and have followers smoothly chase their assigned offsets. Add a round coral-to-gold action button labeled “E” at bottom-right on mobile; it should be usable near the campfire or glowing eyes. Hide the joystick and action button on mouse/hover desktop layouts. Include soft click sounds for starting and button actions and magical phase-jump-style sounds for berry collection, camping, and greeting.

HUD: At top-left place translucent dark-green rounded pills showing “🫐 Berries 0/6,” a companion strip reading “❤️ Touch 🔥 Puffin 💙 Johnny 🌸 Cat,” and the current quest such as “Quest: Follow the golden road.” Under the top HUD, show a centered translucent dark story panel with the title “Chapter One — The Day the Road Called” and the instruction “Move down the road, gather healing berries, and meet the glowing eyes watching from the tall grass.” Update this panel for the campfire, berry, and glowing-eyes story messages, fading temporary messages after several seconds. At bottom-right on desktop or near the controls, show the hint “WASD / Arrow keys to move. Press E or the sun button near glowing eyes.” Keep the interface readable, rounded, colorful, and appropriate for a gentle storybook adventure.
