Make your own game

Pet Hatchers was built by Chace Hernandez with the Cinevva game creator: describe the game you want in chat, watch it get built, and play it in your browser minutes later.

Remix Pet Hatchers opens the real game in the creator and forks its actual files, chat and design doc, so you start from the code rather than from a description.

Read the build brief for Pet Hatchers

Cinevva's analyzer read this game's design doc and its source, then wrote the brief below. "Make your own" hands it to the game creator as your opening message, so you start from a real spec rather than a one-line idea.

Rebuild a browser-playable Three.js 3D third-person pet-collection simulator titled “Pet Hatchers.” Use an original, bright, toy-like Roblox-inspired style with primitive geometry, soft shadows, colorful materials, floating signboards, and a sky-blue background with fog. The player controls a blocky humanoid avatar with peach head/hands, brown hair, blue shirt, dark-blue pants, simple face, and smooth idle/walk/run/jump animation. Place the avatar in a long north-south simulator world: a grassy Meadow spawn hub at the front, with connected circular themed world platforms farther north. The camera is behind and above the avatar, with mouse drag orbit, mouse-wheel zoom, camera clipping avoidance, and camera-relative movement. Support WASD or arrow-key movement, Shift to run, Space to jump, and mobile touch movement/jump controls. Include responsive contextual UI buttons for nearby actions.

Core progression loop: begin in Meadow with 125 coins, 60 gems, Rank 1, one Meadow world unlocked, and no meaningful pet roster. Walk near coin piles, gem piles, and chests and click/tap a visible breakable directly, or use the contextual/send interaction, to assign all equipped pets to attack it. Equipped pets deal damage over time; show each target’s green HP bar decreasing. When a target breaks, award currency and spawn collectible-looking coin or gem orbs/floating reward text. Breakables include gold coin piles, cyan gem piles, and larger chests, with stronger values and HP in later worlds. Show an objective/task message such as “Send pets to coin piles” and then “Click breakables to farm orbs.” Allow up to four equipped pets.

Place egg machines in each world as a white circular pedestal with a large colored, spotted, elongated egg, torus band, and floating “Egg [cost]” label. Near an egg, show an egg odds panel listing pet names, rarity, percentage bars, variant odds, and size-class odds. Press H or use the contextual HATCH button to hatch; support x1 initially and purchasable x3/x8 openings, plus auto-hatch purchasable with gems while standing near an egg. Deduct coins per opening and show an egg shake/pulse animation, point light, hatch overlay, opening text, reveal name, class, power, and chance. Normal eggs roll from the pet table with these original species and base powers/rarities: Dog Common 2, Cat Common 3, Bunny Rare 6, Fox Epic 12, Bee Legendary 24, Dragon Mythic 45, Unicorn Mythic 52, Axolotl Rare 8, Shark Epic 18, Phoenix Legendary 34, Robot Tech 80, Alien Cosmic 140. Use colorful rounded procedural pets with body/head/eyes and species details such as ears, wings, stripes, or themed shapes; optionally load the specified CC0 Kenney dog/cat/bunny/fox/bee models with procedural fallback. World progression improves rare odds: Meadow, Desert, Frost, Volcano, Tech, and Cosmic have increasing rare boosts. Pet variants are Normal, Gold (2.5x), Rainbow (6x), and Shiny (1.5x), with Gold/Rainbow/Shiny tint or emissive styling and displayed labels. Exclusive eggs are separate inventory items and can hatch Nebula Cat, Crystal Dragon, or Royal Griffin exclusive pets, with Huge 5% and Titanic 0.5% class odds. Regular Cosmic/Moon-type huge-chance eggs have an extremely rare Huge chance of 0.005%; ordinary regular eggs otherwise hatch Normal. Huge pets use 100x power and enlarged scale; Titanic pets use 1000x power and very large scale.

Create connected gates and themed worlds with floating cost signs and locked barriers. Include these exact world names, approximate sequence, colors, unlock costs, egg costs, and environments: Meadow (grass, free, egg 50); Desert (sand/gold, 500 coins, egg 250, cacti and sandstone rocks); Frost (icy pale-blue, 1,500, egg 700, snowmen, ice rocks, frosty trees and lamps); Volcano (dark maroon, 5,000, egg 1,800, glowing lava spires and forge-like buildings); Tech (cyan/neon, 12,000, egg 4,500, neon towers and portals); Cosmic (purple, 35,000, egg 12,000, glowing cosmic orbs and altar); Candy (pink, 90,000, egg 30,000); Jungle (green, 180,000, egg 65,000); Ocean (blue, 420,000, egg 140,000); Moon (gray/lunar, 1,000,000, egg 300,000). Each later world has a circular colored platform with a glowing rim, a themed egg machine, stronger coin/gem/chest breakables, and gates between areas. The north Spawn Hub should be separate from the main egg/breakable areas and contain Pet Power and RAP Pets leaderboard boards, Gold and Rainbow crafting machines, and a 25-world rebirth monument. Populate Meadow with colorful kiosks, houses, potion/gem shops, lamps, an exclusive egg shop area, a free-gifts portal, and simple building decorations; preserve the themed props described above rather than adding unrelated mechanics.

Implement an inventory UI with tabs for Pets, Eggs, Potions, Enchants, and Hoverboards. Pet rows display icon, species, rarity, variant/class, power, RAP, and equipped/stored state, with equip/unequip buttons. Add crafting at the hub or inventory: five Normal world pets of the same species craft into one Gold, and five Gold into one Rainbow; exclude Exclusive, Huge, and Titanic pets. Add an Eggs tab containing individually held Exclusive Eggs with buttons to open 1, 3, or 8. Add potion tiers I-IV for Coins, Damage, and Luck; potions last five minutes and higher tiers provide larger boosts. Add Strength and Fortune enchantment levels. Add basic and VIP hoverboards purchasable with gems and a toggle to ride, affecting movement speed. Add a Shop panel offering Exclusive Eggs, x3/x8 openings, Auto Hatch, Lucky and Magnet passes, coin/damage/luck potions, hoverboards, and strength/fortune upgrades; prices and labels should match the game UI: Exclusive Egg 35 gems, Lucky 150 gems, Magnet 75 gems, Basic Hoverboard 45 gems, VIP Hoverboard 120 gems, Coin Potion 10 gems, Damage Potion 12 gems, Luck Potion 15 gems, Strength Enchant 25 gems. Lucky improves rare/variant odds, Magnet increases target interaction range, and boosts should be reflected in the HUD.

Add centered closeable panels for Shop, Inventory, Teleporter, Pet Index, Quests, Settings, Passes shortcut, and an Admin testing panel. Add a Teleporter listing every world as locked/unlocked with its coin cost and a Go/Unlock button. Add a Pet Index showing discovered and undiscovered pet species and ownership. Add the starter quest “Starter Collector,” tracking mining and hatches with rewards, playtime rewards, rank-up progression, and visible claim states. Add leaderboard rewards: the Pet Power board can be claimed at 100 equipped power for 100 gems and 5 Huge Tokens; the RAP board rewards ownership of a Huge or Titanic pet with 1 Exclusive Egg and 5 Titanic Tokens. Add a rebirth system: require virtual 25-world progress tracked through unlocked worlds, mining, and hatching; rebirth resets the player to Meadow and resets coins while granting gems and permanent pet/reward scaling. Keep a creator/admin panel for testing that can grant currency, exclusive eggs, tokens, boosts, unlock worlds, and spawn Huge/Titanic pets.

HUD styling should be organized and readable: top currency pills for yellow coins, blue gems, and Rank; a stats panel showing equipped pets out of four, total power, current area, movement state, rebirths, current task, equipped pet roster, and active boosts; contextual action button; centered hatch overlay; floating world and object labels; and small reward/message popups. Use simple icon/emoji-like item cards in menus. Include mobile controls with explicit touch pointer interaction, a movement pad with jump in its center, and a contextual hatch button appearing only near eggs. Use Three.js lighting with hemisphere light, warm directional sun/shadows, fill light, fog, antialiasing, ACES tone mapping, and low-graphics/settings support. Expose optional getGameState/setGameState debugging hooks, but do not display debug overlays.
