Make your own game

Parcel Dash was built by Ekam with the Cinevva game creator: describe the game you want in chat, watch it get built, and play it in your browser minutes later.

Remix Parcel Dash opens the real game in the creator and forks its actual files, chat and design doc, so you start from the code rather than from a description.

Read the build brief for Parcel Dash

Cinevva's analyzer read this game's design doc and its source, then wrote the brief below. "Make your own" hands it to the game creator as your opening message, so you start from a real spec rather than a one-line idea.

Rebuild “Parcel Dash” as a full-screen Three.js low-poly 3D arcade delivery game viewed from behind a large box truck. Use a bright blue sky with light fog, strong daylight, soft shadows, and clean simple geometric materials. The playable area is a compact town block on a large green grass plane, bounded roughly to a 220x220 area. Include dark asphalt roads crossing the scene (a broad north-south road around x=10, a broad east-west road around z=0, and side roads around x=-52 and x=68), white lane stripes on the central road, concrete lots, scattered low-poly trees with brown cylindrical trunks and green spherical crowns, and six delivery buildings around the roads: four small houses and two larger office-like buildings. Buildings should be simple rectangular colored structures with contrasting flat roofs and a dark front door, and each should have a nearby circular yellow/orange glowing delivery marker that is hidden unless that building is the current target.

Place a large open-front warehouse on the west side at approximately x=-68. It has a gray back wall, two gray side walls, a dark charcoal roof/header, a bright orange sign panel over the front, and a pale concrete interior floor. Make the front open toward the east/road, with visible orange/yellow loading-bay pads near the front/interior (three square glowing pads around x=-80,-68,-56 and z=18), orange warehouse shelving/racks and wooden pallet-like shelves inside. The truck starts near the warehouse entrance at approximately (-68,42), facing into the warehouse. The warehouse should be a prominent visual landmark.

The player vehicle is a chunky oversized low-poly parcel truck: a dark blue rectangular cargo box, orange cab at its front, orange roof, pale yellow/orange side accent panels, blue-tinted windshield, black chunky wheels, and a simple curved accent on the cargo box. It should cast a large visible shadow. Use a chase camera by default, positioned high and behind the truck, looking toward it and the road ahead. Provide a toggleable close cab/driver view from the front of the truck; when walking, use a third-person camera behind the worker.

Core loop and exact state flow: begin with score 0, a 90-second countdown, empty cargo, truck driving mode, and one randomly selected delivery building marked with a rotating/glowing yellow circular target. Drive the truck to the warehouse/loading area. The player can exit the truck into a small low-poly worker avatar wearing a bright yellow hi-vis body/vest with a blue backpack and a simple skin-colored head. While on foot, walk to any glowing warehouse pad; being within about 3.3 world units automatically picks up a glowing orange parcel. The worker visibly carries a smaller glowing orange box. Walk back within about 4.6 units of the truck and the parcel automatically transfers into the truck, changing cargo to Loaded. Enter the truck and drive to the currently highlighted house or office; when the truck is within about 6.2 units of the target marker, automatically deliver, add 100 points and one delivery, add 6 seconds to the timer (capped at 99), hide the old marker and select/show a new random delivery target. Repeat for as many deliveries as possible before time expires. There is no hard win condition; the game ends when the countdown reaches zero.

Truck controls: W or Up accelerates forward, S or Down reverses/brakes, A or Left and D or Right steer. Truck speed is limited to roughly 24 forward and 10 reverse, with steering becoming stronger at speed. Releasing the controls slows the truck. Walking uses the same forward/backward and turning controls at a slower speed of about 8. Press E or the on-screen Exit Truck/Enter Truck button to switch modes; the worker can only enter when close to the truck. Press C or the View button to switch between Chase and Cab views; force chase view when exiting the truck. On mobile/tablet, provide a touch-safe HUD with a draggable steering wheel at bottom left and Gas/Reverse buttons at bottom right, plus Restart after game over. Support pointer/touch controls and responsive layout.

Add arcade HUD panels across the top showing SCORE, TIME, and CARGO with values such as 0, 87/90, and Empty/By Hand/Loaded. Use large white typography in translucent dark rounded panels. Under them, show a large translucent dark instruction/message bar that changes contextually: initially tell the player to drive into the warehouse and load a parcel; while on foot tell them to walk to a glowing pad or return to the truck; while loaded tell them to drive to the glowing delivery building; on game over say the shift is over. Display a floating cyan arrow above the current player pointing toward the next required destination: the selected loading pad when empty, the truck when carrying by hand, and the highlighted building when the truck is loaded. Animate target pads, target markers, arrow bobbing, and parcel glows. On game over, show a centered dark overlay titled Parcel Dash with the final score and delivery count, and instructions to press Space or tap Restart.

Truck collisions with buildings, trees, warehouse walls/racks, and world boundaries should block movement, bounce/slow the truck, and subtract 3 seconds no more often than once every 0.8 seconds, with a simple short synth crash beep. Use simple Tone.js synth beeps for pickup, loading, successful delivery, and crashes. Keep the presentation clean, readable, colorful, geometric, and faithful to a simple low-poly warehouse-town delivery scene rather than a realistic simulator. Expose game state for debugging through window.getGameState() and allow state patches through window.setGameState(), including player/worker position, score, time, cargo flags, mode, target, camera mode, and restart.
