Make your own game

Orb Dash was built with the Cinevva game creator: describe the game you want in chat, watch it get built, and play it in your browser minutes later.

Remix Orb Dash opens the real game in the creator and forks its actual files, chat and design doc, so you start from the code rather than from a description.

Read the build brief for Orb Dash

Cinevva's analyzer read this game's design doc and its source, then wrote the brief below. "Make your own" hands it to the game creator as your opening message, so you start from a real spec rather than a one-line idea.

Create a browser game titled "Orb Dash" as a playable Three.js 3D arcade arena game. Use a dark navy space-like background with subtle fog, a top-down-but-angled perspective camera, and a large circular arena centered in view. The arena should have a dark blue circular floor sitting on a thicker raised cylindrical base, surrounded by a bright glowing blue torus boundary. Use soft shadows, bloom-like emissive materials, and a clean futuristic low-poly aesthetic.

The player is a small glowing cyan/blue sphere with a bright white inner core and a dark circular shadow beneath it. Start the player at the center of the arena. Move it with WASD or the arrow keys; normalize diagonal movement and keep it inside the circular boundary. Movement should feel responsive, with a speed around 6.4 world units per second. Give the player a slight hovering/bobbing animation and subtle pulsing scale.

Place one collectible at a time: a small bright blue-white glowing faceted orb (low-poly icosahedron) floating above the floor, rotating and gently pulsing. Spawn it at a random point within the arena, away from the player when possible. When the player touches it, add 1 to the score, immediately relocate it to another random arena position, and restore 1.4 seconds to the timer without allowing time to exceed 30 seconds. Play a short high-pitched pickup beep if audio is available.

Add four red enemy drones. Each drone is a floating red/pink low-poly octahedron with a dark shadow below it and a red emissive glow. Have them continuously patrol in individual circular orbits around the arena, with orbit radii approximately 3.5, 4.6, 5.7, and 6.8, different angular speeds around 0.8 to 1.37, slight radial wobble, vertical bobbing, rotation, and subtle scale pulsing. If a drone comes within roughly 1.05 units of the player, count a hit: subtract 2.8 seconds from the timer (not below zero), briefly flash/tint the scene dark red, play a low buzzer, and bump the player slightly away from the drone while keeping the player inside the arena. There are no lives or health meter; the timer is the penalty and the main survival resource.

Each round starts with 30 seconds. While active, count the timer down continuously; end the round at zero. During the round, the player moves, the orb animates, and drones patrol. When paused, stop timer and player movement and slow the drone/orb gameplay updates appropriately. Keep the best score for the current page session and update it after each round. The round-over message should say the score and best score and prompt the user to press Start for another 30-second round. The initial title overlay should explain: move with WASD or Arrow Keys, use the D-pad on phones, grab blue orbs for points, red drones knock time off the clock, and press Start to begin.

Build a responsive HUD over the canvas using translucent dark rounded panels with thin light borders and a soft shadow. At the upper left/top area show exactly the style of text "Score: 0 · Time: 30 · Best: 0", with time rounded up for display. Also show a goal/status panel saying "Collect the glowing orbs. Avoid red drones." and update it with short contextual messages after pickups and at round end. Center the initial and round-over message in a wide translucent panel with a large bold "Orb Dash" title. At the bottom left provide a translucent mobile D-pad with four large rounded buttons labeled ▲, ◀, ▶, ▼. At the bottom right provide rounded Start and Pause buttons; Pause should change to Resume while paused. Make the controls touch-friendly, pointer-safe, and usable on phones with safe-area insets. Start should reset score, timer, player position, and orb; Space should start when inactive or toggle pause while active; the Start button should begin/reset a round and the Pause button should toggle pause.

Use a perspective camera positioned high and angled toward the arena, approximately (0, 13, 11), with mild camera tracking based on player position. Keep the arena and objects visible against the dark foggy background. Include simple synthesized pickup and hit sounds only after user interaction, but do not make audio required for play.
