Make your own game

Minicraft was built by Davaxic with the Cinevva game creator: describe the game you want in chat, watch it get built, and play it in your browser minutes later.

Remix Minicraft opens the real game in the creator and forks its actual files, chat and design doc, so you start from the code rather than from a description.

Read the build brief for Minicraft

Cinevva's analyzer read this game's design doc and its source, then wrote the brief below. "Make your own" hands it to the game creator as your opening message, so you start from a real spec rather than a one-line idea.

Create a responsive single-page game launcher titled "Minicraft" rather than a playable block world. It has two sequential UI screens.

1) Loading screen: fill the viewport with a bright, original block-world scene using a sky-blue upper half, a narrow green grass band, and brown soil below, with faint perspective/grid lines, a square pale sun in the upper-right, and a centered translucent dark card with a thick white border and shadow. On the card show a huge bold uppercase white MINICRAFT logo with a chunky dark shadow, the subtitle "AN ORIGINAL BLOCK-BUILDING ADVENTURE", the tip "Tip: Punch trees, craft tools, and build something only you could make.", a dark horizontal progress bar with a white border and green fill, and changing status text. Simulate loading over about 1.1 seconds: start at 12% "Generating the overworld…", then 32% "Growing blocky forests…", 54% "Packing the starter skin…", 76% "Building the menu…", 100% "Ready!", then switch to the home menu.

2) Home menu: use the same full-screen pixel/block landscape (blue sky, green horizon, brown ground), faint grid texture, soft lighting overlays, two simple white rounded cloud shapes, and strong readable typography. Center a responsive two-column layout on desktop, with the menu controls on the left and a player profile card on the right; stack into one column on narrow screens. The left side has a very large MINICRAFT logo, the subtitle "A tiny block world. A huge adventure.", and three wide blocky buttons: green-highlighted "Play Solo", then "Servers", then "Multiplayer". Below them place smaller buttons: "Skin Catalog", "Log in", and "Options". Use thick white borders, dark shadows, bold white text, hover brightening and small press movement, and touch-friendly sizing.

The right profile card is a dark translucent panel with a thick white border and shadow. Label it "CURRENT PLAYER" and show a framed pixel-art preview stage with a blue sky, green ground, and brown strip. Render a simple front-facing block character from rectangular shapes: square head with brown hair strip and tiny dark eyes, teal shirt/body and arms, and blue pants/legs, all with darker offset borders/shading. Under it show the current name "Steve" and a "Change Skin" button. The character must be selectable among four exact skins with these colors: Steve shirt #2e88a2, pants #344d9a, face #c98b61, hair #5a3825; Alex shirt #4c9d62, pants #6b8f42, face #b97950, hair #6f4429; Miner shirt #b97048, pants #68458f, face #ad714d, hair #382a25; Ranger shirt #568c9d, pants #4b5b78, face #bd8559, hair #513326. Use darker borders/shading around each part.

Interactions: Play Solo opens a centered dark modal titled "Play Solo" with text "Your original block-world adventure starts here." and a green Create New World button. Clicking it changes the button to "World created ✓", disables it, and shows a brief bottom toast "New world created"; do not create an actual world. Servers opens a modal titled "Servers" saying "Server browser placeholder — ready for saved servers later." and a dashed panel "No servers found yet." Multiplayer opens a modal titled "Multiplayer" saying "Local multiplayer is reserved for the next build." and a dashed panel "Invite / room UI coming next." Options opens an "Options" modal explaining "Controls are ready for PC keyboard and iPad touch controls. World settings will be added when the playable world is connected." followed by a dashed panel with "PC: WASD / arrows", "iPad: touch controls", and "Jump: Space or on-screen button"; these are informational only. Skin Catalog and Change Skin open a "Skin Catalog" modal with "Steve is your starter skin. Select a new look:" and a four-card grid for Steve, Alex, Miner, Ranger, each showing a mini version of the pixel character. Highlight the selected skin green; clicking a card immediately updates the profile preview/name, reopens or refreshes the catalog, and shows a short toast such as "Alex equipped". Log in toggles its label between "Log in" and "Logged in" and shows a short toast "Logged in locally" or "Logged out"; this is local UI state only. Every modal has an X close button and Back button, and clicking the dark backdrop closes it. Use a bottom-centered dark translucent toast with a white border for notifications. Keep the experience as a polished launcher/menu; the source behavior contains no actual mining, crafting, enemies, multiplayer, servers, or playable 3D world.
