Make your own game

Midnight Tuning was built by letado23 with the Cinevva game creator: describe the game you want in chat, watch it get built, and play it in your browser minutes later.

Remix Midnight Tuning opens the real game in the creator and forks its actual files, chat and design doc, so you start from the code rather than from a description.

Cinevva's analyzer read this game's design doc and its source, then wrote the brief below. "Make your own" hands it to the game creator as your opening message, so you start from a real spec rather than a one-line idea.

Rebuild a playable Three.js-style 3D freeroam driving showroom called “Midnight Tuning Garage,” presented as a dark cinematic underground performance lab at night. Use a third-person chase camera behind and slightly above a small stylized drift car, smoothly following its position and looking toward its elevated front. The environment is a very large enclosed garage/district bounded by dark walls, with a glossy rain-slick nearly black blue floor, a dark ceiling, atmospheric fog, falling rain particles, and a distant low city silhouette with tiny cyan/magenta windows. Lay out a broad free-roam street grid across the floor: long dark avenues and cross streets with thin glowing lane lines, alternating cyan and magenta, plus scattered glowing puddle-like strips. Add distant block structures and neon district signs.

The controllable vehicle is a compact low-poly blue sports/drift car with a dark cabin, cyan windshield, four black wheels, bright green underglow strips on both sides, and an amber glowing exhaust at the rear. Start it near the front of the garage district around the center of the map, facing toward the interior. Implement responsive arcade driving: W/Up accelerates, S/Down reverses/brakes, A/Left and D/Right steer, and Space engages the handbrake. Cap forward speed around 13 units/sec and reverse around -3.5; steering changes heading while moving, and handbrake greatly increases lateral slip so the player can flick the rear loose and drift. Keep the car inside roughly a 106-by-106-unit square. Smoothly rotate/lean the car body while steering and intensify the rear exhaust glow with speed. Also support the same controls through a visible mobile on-screen pad with left, up, right, down, and a wide HANDBRAKE button; make the pad semi-transparent on desktop and usable with touch pointer events on mobile.

Populate the garage with a central hero service bay: a raised dark hydraulic lift deck with four posts and a cyan glowing top, an open hood silhouette above it, and a twin-turbo engine display with a metallic engine block, cyan intake manifold, amber turbo housings, exhaust pipes, and small coils. Place several static display cars around the bay, including sports hatchbacks/sedans and a small drag-racer-like vehicle, in red/orange and dark colors. Add four simple stylized mechanic/enthusiast figures made from cylinders, with cyan, magenta, amber, and white shirts and amber heads, positioned around the service area. Include several dark tool chests with thin cyan or magenta tool lights and upright tools. Add four simple low-poly traffic cars that continuously circulate around rectangular loops in the neon district. Give them different bright colors (red/orange, cyan, yellow, purple), headlights, magenta taillights, black wheels, and basic yielding behavior: they slow down when the player is very close and ahead of them, otherwise continue around their route.

Use a restrained four-light neon night setup: cool hemisphere fill, a cool directional key with shadows, a cyan point glow near the hero bay, and a pink point glow farther across the garage. Use emissive materials for cyan, hot magenta, amber, white, and green neon; metallic dark floor and machinery; soft shadows, ACES-like tone mapping, and fog. Keep the visual language low-poly/stylized but with polished reflective surfaces and strong neon contrast. The opening view should visibly include the large garage interior, the lifted/showcase cars and mechanics, glowing floor lanes, rain and colored light pools.

Overlay a fixed HUD over the 3D view. At top left show the small spaced brand “MTR // UNDERGROUND PERFORMANCE LAB,” the large title “MIDNIGHT TUNING GARAGE,” and subtitle “Freeroam showroom slice · cinematic build 01.” At top right show a translucent bordered panel titled “LIVE BAY TELEMETRY” with rows for Boost pressure, Dyno output, Garage status, and Nearest bay. Display animated telemetry around 1.35–1.44 bar and 804–820 hp, with status changing among PARKED, DRIVE READY, and DRIFTING based on movement/drift, and show “B-07 // GT-R SPEC” normally or a live slip-angle percentage while drifting. At the bottom center show the instruction text “WASD / arrows to drive · Space handbrake · build speed, then flick the rear loose.” The game is a freeroam showroom slice rather than a mission or race: there is no finish line, combat, scoring, or lives; the core activity is exploring the neon garage, driving among traffic, and practicing handbrake drifts.
