Make your own game

Meadow Run was built by Allister Barr with the Cinevva game creator: describe the game you want in chat, watch it get built, and play it in your browser minutes later.

Remix Meadow Run opens the real game in the creator and forks its actual files, chat and design doc, so you start from the code rather than from a description.

Read the build brief for Meadow Run

Cinevva's analyzer read this game's design doc and its source, then wrote the brief below. "Make your own" hands it to the game creator as your opening message, so you start from a real spec rather than a one-line idea.

Create a third-person 3D collection game titled “Mia’s Meadow Run.” Use Three.js-style real-time 3D rendering with a soft, low-poly/cartoon look. The camera is a perspective chase camera positioned behind and slightly above the player, following her as she moves through the meadow. The sky/background is pale blue with matching blue fog that obscures distant scenery. Light the scene with bright, warm directional sunlight plus cool ambient hemisphere light, with soft shadows and a warm, gentle daytime palette.

The playable character is Mia, loaded from the supplied asset `assets/Rig_model_mia.glb`. Scale the rig to roughly 3.1 world units tall, place her on the ground, enable mesh shadows, and play an available idle/walk/run animation (prefer an animation whose name contains idle, walk, or run). She starts at the near end of the route at approximately world position (0, 0.05, 20). Movement is third-person free movement using WASD or the arrow keys; support an on-screen joystick for touch devices. Normal movement speed is about 5.2, Shift enables sprinting, and Space makes the character jump with jump speed about 8.5 and gravity about -22. Keep the player grounded by the meadow and allow a slope limit around 40 degrees.

Build a simple enclosed meadow: a large flat green grass ground, approximately 54 by 54 units and slightly thick, with a broad tan rectangular walking path about 10 units wide and 48 units long running along the Z axis. Place six stylized low-poly trees around the route: each consists of a brown faceted cylindrical trunk and a dark green conical evergreen crown. Use approximate placements around (-8,-17), (8,-12), (-10,0), (10,7), (-8,16), and (8,18), with varied scales around 1.1–1.4. Add simple wooden fence lines at the far and near boundaries around z=-24 and z=24: repeated small vertical posts spanning x=-22 to 22, connected by a single horizontal rail.

Place exactly eight collectible fireflies along and beside the path at these approximate positions: (-4,15), (4,11), (-3,5), (3,-1), (-4,-7), (4,-13), (-2,-18), and (2,19). Each firefly should be represented visually as a glowing warm yellow orb with an emissive material and a small horizontal torus/ring around it, floating around y=1.2 or 1.55. Make them gently bob vertically and rotate continuously. When Mia comes within approximately 1.35 units of a firefly, collect it: hide/remove it, increment the collected count, and leave the other fireflies visible.

The objective is to collect all eight fireflies before dusk. Start each run with a 55-second countdown, reset Mia to the starting position, reset all eight fireflies, and reset the count to 0. If all eight are collected, end the run with a win message such as “Meadow clear!” and “You caught all 8 fireflies.” If the timer reaches zero first, end with “Dusk arrived” and report how many were caught. Include a start/restart button; the initial state displays a centered overlay card titled “Meadow Run” with the instruction “Move with WASD or the on-screen joystick.” Once ended, the button reads “Run again.”

Add a fixed, readable HUD over the 3D view. At the upper left, show a dark translucent rounded card with the title “MIA’S MEADOW RUN” and subtitle “Collect every firefly before the dusk timer ends.” At the upper right, show a matching card with the live counter “0 / 8” (updating as fireflies are collected) and the label “fireflies.” At the bottom center show the control hint “WASD / arrows • Shift to sprint • Space to jump.” Use dark blue-green translucent cards with rounded corners, subtle borders/shadows, white text, and a warm yellow rounded action button. On touch/mobile layouts, show an on-screen circular joystick near the lower-right portion of the view. Keep the scene and HUD uncluttered and preserve the calm meadow-run atmosphere.
