Mangrove Mates was built by zilly zillick with the Cinevva game creator: describe the game you want in chat, watch it get built, and play it in your browser minutes later.
Remix Mangrove Mates opens the real game in the creator and forks its actual files, chat and design doc, so you start from the code rather than from a description.
Cinevva's analyzer read this game's design doc and its source, then wrote the brief below. "Make your own" hands it to the game creator as your opening message, so you start from a real spec rather than a one-line idea.
Create a small 3D top-down exploration game titled "Mangrove Mates". The player explores a colorful low-poly mangrove lagoon village and must greet all three friendly crocodiles. Use a Three.js-style perspective camera looking down from behind/above the player, with smooth camera following and a compact village surrounded by turquoise water. The world should include a large muddy main island, a smaller north island, and a dock island, all as simple flat chunky low-poly platforms. Add a winding raised wooden boardwalk across the village, made from short brown plank sections, plus several simple stilt houses with muted green rectangular bases, orange-brown low roofs, and dark doors. Scatter tall low-poly palm trees around the islands. Include a small rowboat near the dock and a floating house/boat-house prop in the water. The player is a very simple stylized explorer: a small peach/tan capsule-shaped body wearing a blue flat brimmed hat. Start the player near the lower/southern side of the main island at approximately the boardwalk/water edge. Movement is the core interaction: support WASD, arrow keys, and an on-screen virtual stick for mobile/touch play. Move at a moderate pace and orient the player toward their movement direction. Keep the player constrained by the terrain/physics as appropriate, with a top-down camera at a distance of roughly 13 units. Place exactly three friendly crocodile NPCs in the village: Bubbles near the center of the main island, Moss toward the eastern side, and Sunny on the smaller northwestern island. Each crocodile is built in a cute blocky low-poly style from a green rectangular body, pale yellow-green snout/belly, tapered tail, two cream eyes with dark pupils, and small pink cheek/blush spheres. They gently bob up and down and sway slightly while idle. When the player comes within about 2.1 world units of a crocodile for the first time, count that crocodile as greeted exactly once and show a temporary bottom message: "[Name] gives you a happy tail wiggle!" Do not require an attack or dialogue menu. HUD is always visible over the game. At upper left show the large bold title "Mangrove Mates" and beneath it the instruction "Explore the village and say hello to every friendly crocodile." At upper right show a rounded dark teal badge reading "Friends: 0/3", updating to 1/3, 2/3, and 3/3 as unique crocodiles are approached. At the bottom center show a rounded dark teal translucent instruction/message pill initially reading "Use WASD, arrows, or the on-screen stick." When greeting a crocodile, replace it with the crocodile-specific happy-tail-wiggle message for a few seconds, then fade it toward partially transparent. Use pale cream/green text, subtle text shadows, rounded borders, and a clean system sans-serif UI. Use a bright tropical palette and soft shadows: turquoise/teal water, olive-brown muddy islands, warm brown wood, green vegetation and houses, orange roofs, and a blue player hat. Use ambient hemisphere lighting plus warm directional sunlight and cool fill light. Enable shadows, fog in the distance, and a slightly cinematic but simple low-poly presentation. The game goal is complete when the HUD reaches Friends: 3/3; do not add combat, collectibles, timers, health, or other objectives.
