Make your own game

Lucky Roll was built by ricardo.velezna with the Cinevva game creator: describe the game you want in chat, watch it get built, and play it in your browser minutes later.

Remix Lucky Roll opens the real game in the creator and forks its actual files, chat and design doc, so you start from the code rather than from a description.

Read the build brief for Lucky Roll

Cinevva's analyzer read this game's design doc and its source, then wrote the brief below. "Make your own" hands it to the game creator as your opening message, so you start from a real spec rather than a one-line idea.

Create a single-screen 3D play-money casino dice game titled “Lucky Roll.” Use a dark, space-like casino presentation: an almost-black/navy background with subtle blue radial lighting and roughly 90 small floating star particles in the distance, slowly drifting/rotating. Render the game in Three.js-style 3D with a perspective camera positioned above and in front of the table, showing a broad dark blue circular casino table near the bottom of the view. The table should have a raised dark-blue outer cylinder, a green felt inset, a thin glowing gold circular rim, and a faint translucent center disc. Use cool white/blue ambient and directional lighting, with blue fill light.

Place two large white beveled-looking cube dice (simple white cube bodies with dark navy circular pips) on the felt near the camera, side by side: the player die on the left and the house die on the right. Each die should show a face value from 1 through 6 using correctly arranged pips. Keep the dice visually steady when idle, with soft circular shadows beneath them. Add a blue stack of chips at the left side of the table for the player’s bank and a pink stack at the right for the bet; each stack consists of layered cylindrical chips with thin gold accent rings. The chip stacks can have a very subtle idle bob/rotation, but the dice should remain still outside a roll.

Game rules and state: start a new session at round 1 with a bank of 100 chips and a 10-chip bet. The minimum bet is 5 chips, bets change in increments of 5, and the bet may not exceed the current bank (with a maximum bank of 200). On each roll, randomly generate one six-sided result for the player and one for the house. If the player roll is higher, add the bet to the bank; if the house roll is higher, subtract the bet; if they tie, leave the bank unchanged. Increment the round after every completed roll. If the bank reaches 0, end the session and disable rolling and bet controls until a new session is started. Use play money only; there are no real-money features.

When Roll Dice is activated, show a roughly 1.35-second roll animation: both dice lift/bounce slightly, shift outward/inward a little, and rotate through several turns before settling on their randomly selected final faces. While rolling, prevent another roll or bet adjustment and show a message such as “Rolling 10 chips against the house...”. After the result, briefly tint the scene/rim with green light for a player win, pink/red light for a house win, or balanced warm light for a tie, then fade the result lighting away. Update the message with the exact outcome, for example “You rolled 6 vs 3. Win 10 chips.”, “House wins 5 to 2. You lose 10 chips.”, or “Push at 4-4. Your bank stays at 100 chips.” If the bank is empty, show a clear “Bank empty. Tap New Session to restart the play-money table.” message.

Overlay a responsive HTML HUD above the 3D scene. At the top, show rounded dark translucent glass cards with thin subtle borders, blur, and shadows. Display cards labeled “ROUND,” “BANK,” “BET,” and “YOU / HOUSE,” showing the current round number, bank in chips, bet in chips, and the latest player/house roll as “player / house”; show “-” before the first roll. Include a translucent message panel that initially says “Play-money casino dice — set your bet and roll against the house.” On small screens, allow the cards to wrap and make the message full width.

At the bottom, provide large touch-friendly controls: a “-5” button, a prominent gold/yellow gradient “Roll Dice” button, a dark blue secondary “+5” button, and a dark blue “New Session” button. Disable -5 at the minimum bet, disable +5 when the bet would exceed the bank, disable all relevant controls during the roll, and replace the roll label with “Busted” when the bank is empty. Include a small centered hint reading “Play-money only. Left/right changes bet, Space rolls, R resets.” Support pointer/touch input, keyboard Left Arrow or A to decrease the bet, Right Arrow or D to increase it, Space to roll, and R to reset/start a new session. Use large rounded buttons, readable white labels, mobile-safe spacing, and a dark navy/blue/yellow casino color palette.
