Make your own game

Leonida Football was built by secret17987 with the Cinevva game creator: describe the game you want in chat, watch it get built, and play it in your browser minutes later.

Remix Leonida Football opens the real game in the creator and forks its actual files, chat and design doc, so you start from the code rather than from a description.

Read the build brief for Leonida Football

Cinevva's analyzer read this game's design doc and its source, then wrote the brief below. "Make your own" hands it to the game creator as your opening message, so you start from a real spec rather than a one-line idea.

Create a browser-based 3D arcade football game titled “Leonida Football,” presented as a quick-match 11v11 football slice. Use a Three.js-style real-time 3D scene with a slightly elevated top-down perspective camera looking toward the full rectangular pitch; keep the pitch centered and show the active player, ball, both goals, and team formations. Use a muted blue-gray sky/background with light fog, soft shadows, stadium-style directional and hemisphere lighting, and a clean low-poly aesthetic.

Build a green full-size football pitch approximately 44 units wide by 72 units long. Alternate subtle vertical mowing stripes across the grass, with bright white boundary lines, halfway line, center circle and center spot, penalty-area rectangles, and six-yard boxes at both ends. Put simple dark stadium stands just beyond the two short ends, each with a row of alternating blue and yellow block seats. Add simple white goals at both ends: two posts, a crossbar, and a transparent wireframe net. The north/end goal is the scoring target for Leonida.

Create two teams of 11 simple stylized players. Leonida players wear blue jerseys with dark navy shorts; Nova players wear red jerseys with dark red shorts. Players should be compact low-poly figures with a capsule-like torso, blocky shorts, and a small skin-colored spherical head, all casting shadows. Arrange them in fixed football formations at kickoff: Leonida begins on the south/negative-Z half and Nova on the north/positive-Z half. The user controls one Leonida outfield player near the center, visually distinguish the controlled player if possible, and allow switching control to another Leonida teammate.

Add one pale football with simple sphere geometry and visible rolling/bouncing physics. The ball should have velocity, gravity and bounce: it falls, bounces off the grass with reduced vertical velocity, gradually loses speed, rolls, and reflects from the pitch side boundaries. Keep it close to a player when the controlled player is within roughly 1.5 units and the ball is stationary. Players should move with responsive arcade movement and remain inside the pitch. Non-controlled Leonida players return toward their home positions but move somewhat toward the ball when it is nearby. Nova players also return toward their home positions, pursue the ball when it is within a larger range or on Nova’s attacking half, and can kick toward the Leonida goal when close to the ball. Use simple team AI rather than complex rules.

The core objective is to score by shooting the ball through the north goal. When the ball travels beyond either end line, award a goal to the appropriate team (Leonida scores when it crosses the north/positive-Z end; Nova scores when it crosses the south/negative-Z end), display a goal notification, update the score, reset the ball to midfield, and reset all players to their starting formation. Start with a 0–0 score and a running match timer formatted as minutes and seconds. There is no need for fouls, offsides, cards, set pieces, careers, online play, or other future-stage systems.

Desktop controls: WASD or arrow keys move the controlled player, Space shoots, E passes to a nearby Leonida teammate, Tab switches control to the Leonida player nearest the ball, and P pauses. Also support a sprint input using Shift. A shot is available when the controlled player is within about 2.2 units of the ball and sends it strongly toward the north goal; a pass from that range sends it toward the nearest other Leonida teammate. Provide two gameplay presets in the menu: “Fast Competitive” (the default, with stronger/faster shot and pass) and “Realistic Simulation” (slower shot/pass). Include a “Training Ground” button that starts play in the training-style mode while retaining the same basic football controls.

Create a responsive HTML overlay HUD above the 3D canvas. At the upper left, show a dark translucent rounded score panel with the small label “LEONIDA FOOTBALL · QUICK MATCH,” the score text “LEO 0 — 0 NOVA,” and a digital-style elapsed timer such as “00:00.” On desktop, show a compact hint for “WASD / arrows move · Space shoot · E pass · Tab switch.” Include a centered temporary dark toast for messages such as “Kick off!”, “Shot!”, “Pass,” “Switched to #…,” “LEONIDA GOAL!,” “NOVA GOAL!,” “Paused,” and “Back to play.”

Before kickoff, show a large centered dark navy modal panel with rounded corners over the dimmed pitch. It should contain the large white title “Leonida Football,” subtitle text describing an original browser football slice with a full-pitch 11v11 quick match, responsive AI, scoring, passing, shooting, switching and mobile controls, then buttons: green “Kick Off,” dark “Training Ground,” yellow “Fast Competitive,” and dark “Realistic Simulation.” Include a two-column informational legend: “Stage 1 live” listing pitch, 11v11 teams, controllable player, ball physics, goals, timer and AI, and “Next stages” listing rules, set pieces, formations, modes, careers, cards, squad building, saving and online systems as not-yet-built features. Hide the modal after kickoff and show a Pause button near the upper right; pause freezes gameplay and changes the button to Resume.

For narrow mobile screens, replace the desktop control hint with touch controls along the bottom: a translucent circular four-direction D-pad on the lower left with up/left/down/right arrows, and four circular action buttons on the lower right labeled PASS (blue), SHOOT (red), SWITCH, and SPRINT (green/dark). Make the buttons large, touch-friendly, and prevent page scrolling. Keep the stylized pitch and HUD visible behind the controls, matching the screenshot’s polished dark translucent UI, rounded panels, bold sans-serif typography, and blue/green/red/yellow color accents.
