Lava Leap was built by beckett.townsend35 with the Cinevva game creator: describe the game you want in chat, watch it get built, and play it in your browser minutes later.
Remix Lava Leap opens the real game in the creator and forks its actual files, chat and design doc, so you start from the code rather than from a description.
Cinevva's analyzer read this game's design doc and its source, then wrote the brief below. "Make your own" hands it to the game creator as your opening message, so you start from a real spec rather than a one-line idea.
Create a browser-based 3D third-person platforming game titled “Lava Leap.” Use a dark volcanic environment with a deep purple-black background and fog, a large glowing red-orange lava sea below the course, floating dark gray rectangular platforms with bright cyan-blue rims, scattered rocky cliff props, and small glowing orange/yellow lava shards hovering and gently bobbing above the lava. Light the scene with warm orange volcanic illumination plus cool blue platform accents, soft shadows, and an arcade-like stylized low-poly look. The player is a small bright cyan-blue astronaut/runner character: a rounded capsule-like body with a dark blue reflective visor, casting shadows. Place the camera behind and slightly above the character in a third-person view, following the player at about 7 units distance. The course runs forward along the negative Z axis across separated floating platforms. Movement should support WASD and arrow keys, with Space to jump; on mobile, provide an automatically visible translucent circular virtual joystick/control at the lower-right, as shown in the reference. The character uses physics with gravity, can jump between platforms, and falls into the lava if the vertical position drops below the safe threshold; when this happens, count a death and respawn the player on the first platform of the current level. Build three sequential levels with increasing difficulty. Level 1 “Warm Up” should have wide platforms and short gaps: a starting platform around (0,0,6), then platforms near (-1.2,0.3,-0.5), (1,0.65,-6), (-1,0.95,-11.5), (0,1.25,-17), and a wide finishing platform near (0,1.55,-24). Level 2 “Hot Steps” should use longer gaps and higher platforms: start near (0,0,6), then alternating platforms near (-2,0.4,-1), (1.8,0.9,-8), (-1.8,1.35,-15), (1.4,1.8,-22), (-1,2.2,-29), and a finish near (0,2.6,-36). Level 3 “Inferno” should be the narrowest and tallest: start near (0,0,6), then alternating platforms near (-2.3,0.5,-1), (2.3,1.1,-9), (-2.2,1.8,-17), (2.2,2.5,-25), (-1.8,3.2,-33), (1.3,4,-41), and a taller finish near (0,4.6,-47). Platforms should be box-shaped, about 0.55 units thick, each with a slightly raised glowing blue edge/rim. Put a bright cyan-blue glowing portal on the final platform of each level: a horizontal luminous ring with a translucent pale-blue circular core. Animate the ring/core rotation or glow. The player completes a level by reaching the final platform/portal region while above the platform height. Show a centered completion panel with “Level cleared!” and a button for “NEXT LEVEL”; after Level 3 show “Course complete!” and change the button to “PLAY AGAIN,” which restarts at Level 1. Use a fixed HUD overlay. At top-left display “LAVA LEAP” in large bold white uppercase text and below it “WASD / arrows to move · Space to jump · reach the blue portal.” At top-right display a rounded dark translucent status badge with an orange border reading “Level 1 · Distance: 0m” (updating the level and distance as the player advances). Before play begins, show a centered dark translucent rounded instruction card with an orange-red border, the current level title, a short hint, and a bright coral-orange “START RUN” button. For Level 1 use the hint “Wide platforms and short gaps.”, Level 2 “The gaps get longer and the platforms move higher.”, and Level 3 “Narrow platforms, bigger gaps, and a taller finish.” Hide the card after starting. Include an initial dark loading overlay titled “Preparing the volcano,” with a short loading message and an orange/yellow progress bar before the level appears. Keep the game focused on jumping and route traversal: no enemies, weapons, collectibles, timer, or extra power-ups. The main objective is simply to cross the lava by landing on the floating platforms and reach the blue portal, with the distance HUD giving progress feedback.
