Jordan's Book Quest was built by Watson Banks with the Cinevva game creator: describe the game you want in chat, watch it get built, and play it in your browser minutes later.

Read the build brief for Jordan's Book Quest

Cinevva's analyzer read this game's design doc and its source, then wrote the brief below. "Make your own" hands it to the game creator as your opening message, so you start from a real spec rather than a one-line idea.

Create a mobile-friendly first-person 3D educational adventure game titled “Jordan’s Book Quest,” rendered in a bright, simple Three.js-like low-poly style. The camera is at Jordan’s eye level on a sunny vacation path, with a sky-blue background and light fog. The world has a soft grass ground, a wide tan path extending forward, rounded low-poly trees with brown trunks and green spherical crowns, scattered gray rocks, a blue family vacation car near the starting area, and three small Jordan-like family figures beside it. Also place colorful learning shapes in the world: a red cube, green triangular cone, and blue sphere. Use warm directional sunlight and soft shadows.

The player controls Jordan from a first-person view. Show small teal sleeves and brown hands at the bottom of the view, a white crosshair in the center, and a fixed HUD. The HUD should have dark translucent rounded pills at the top for the current level name, Stars count, and Hearts count, plus Book, Save, and Music buttons. Put a story/instruction message in a centered dark-blue rounded box below the top bar. Show a friendly portrait at upper left: stylized dark spiky hair, bright teal headband, brown smiling face, and teal shirt with a yellow J. At the bottom left provide a four-button directional pad with up/down/left/right arrows. At bottom right provide a large orange circular “BOOK!” button and a green “Look / Use” button. Support keyboard WASD and arrow keys, Space to throw a book, and E to interact; support dragging the screen to look around and press-and-hold touch movement buttons on mobile.

Begin with a full-screen dim overlay containing a cream-colored card with a thick yellow border and rounded corners. The card title is “Jordan’s Book Quest” and explains that Jordan is on vacation with his family, gets distracted and lost, and must find clues, answer questions, and return safely. Explain movement with WASD/arrows or screen buttons, dragging to look, and throwing books at Worry Bugs with Space or BOOK!. Include Start Adventure and Load Save buttons. The Book tab opens an Instructions Book explaining movement, looking, throwing books, using the glowing clue, answering a question to unlock the yellow ring, and the safety lesson: if lost, stay calm and ask a safe grown-up. Save opens a panel showing the current place, Stars, and Hearts, with Save Now, Load, and Back; store level, stars, and hearts locally. Music toggles a gentle synthesized vacation song and displays a message when turned on or off.

Implement four sequential levels, each beginning near the family car/start position and extending down the path. Level 1 is “Vacation Car Stop”: Jordan steps out of the family car, sees a shiny feather distraction, and must find the glowing clue. It has 2 Worry Bugs and asks, “Jordan sees 2 red bags and 1 blue bag. How many bags?” with answers 2, 3, and 5; 3 is correct. Level 2 is “Friendly Forest Trail”: Jordan follows a safe trail while Worry Bugs pop out; it has 3 bugs and asks, “Jordan has 4 crackers. He eats 1. How many are left?” with answers 2, 3, and 4; 3 is correct. Level 3 is “Shape Garden”: it has 4 bugs and asks, “Which shape has 3 sides?” with answers Circle, Triangle, and Square; Triangle is correct. Level 4 is “Campsite Reunion”: it has 3 bugs and asks, “If Jordan feels lost, what should he do?” with answers Hide, Stay calm and ask a safe grown-up, and Run far away; the safe grown-up answer is correct.

In every level, place a floating, rotating, glowing blue octahedron as the clue and a rotating glowing yellow torus on the path as the exit. The player must walk within interaction range and press Look / Use or E. Display that level’s clue text, then open its quiz. A correct answer awards one star, hides the blue clue, and unlocks the yellow exit ring; an incorrect answer keeps the quiz open and says to think again. Walking into the locked ring displays that the player must read the blue clue first. Entering an unlocked ring advances to the next level and automatically saves progress. After entering the final unlocked ring, stop gameplay and show a “Jordan’s Movie” card with four sequential lines advanced by Next: Jordan sees the family car and waves, the parents praise him for staying calm and using his brain, Jordan says he followed clues, answered questions, and asked for help, and finally the family vacation continues and Jordan gets a new story book, “The End.” Include Play Again to reset stars and restart at Level 1.

Create cheerful low-poly Worry Bugs as hovering purple rounded creatures with large white eyes and black pupils. They slowly chase the player, wobble vertically, and on contact remove one heart with a cooldown. Display Hearts starting at 3. When hearts reach zero, reset hearts to 3 and restart the current level with a message that Jordan takes a deep breath and tries again. Pressing BOOK! or Space spawns a small blue rectangular book projectile from the camera that flies forward, spins, and lasts briefly. Each bug requires two book hits; when defeated it disappears, displays “Nice throw! The Worry Bug ran away,” and awards a star. Keep the tone safe, friendly, colorful, and educational for young children, with no graphic violence.
