Make your own game

Island Timber was built by haseeb King with the Cinevva game creator: describe the game you want in chat, watch it get built, and play it in your browser minutes later.

Remix Island Timber opens the real game in the creator and forks its actual files, chat and design doc, so you start from the code rather than from a description.

Read the build brief for Island Timber

Cinevva's analyzer read this game's design doc and its source, then wrote the brief below. "Make your own" hands it to the game creator as your opening message, so you start from a real spec rather than a one-line idea.

Create a browser-based 3D first-person exploration and building game titled "Island Timber." Use Three.js-style real-time 3D rendering with a fixed first-person camera, mouse look, and WASD/arrow-key movement. The player starts near the edge of a small tropical island at approximately (0, 1.3, 10), moves at a moderately brisk speed, can jump, and has a small centered white plus crosshair. Keep the camera close to eye level and use a broad perspective view.

World and camera: place a circular ocean around the island, with bright turquoise-blue water and a matching light cyan sky/background. Add fog that fades distant scenery into the sky color. The island is a low, wide circular sandy cylinder with a smaller raised circular green-grass interior. A narrow pale sand path runs through the central area. Use warm daylight, soft shadows, ambient/hemisphere lighting, and a colorful low-poly/casual game aesthetic. The screenshot should feel sunny, simple, and inviting, with a mostly uncluttered horizon and ocean surrounding the island.

Resources and goal: place eight trees around the island interior/outer area at these approximate positions relative to the center: (-10,-4), (-7,4), (7,3), (10,-5), (-11,5), (11,7), (-4,-7), and (5,-9), using a few varied low-poly tree styles, including ordinary trees and one dead-tree variant. The player can collect one wood unit from a nearby available tree when within roughly 5.2 world units. On collection, hide/remove that tree, increment the wood count by one, and display a temporary message such as "Collected wood! 1/3." If the player is not near an available tree, show "Move close to a tree first." The objective is to collect three wood logs.

Building: add a BUILD action that only succeeds after the player has at least three wood. Building consumes exactly three wood, changes the house status to "Built!", and reveals a simple beach house in the island's central area. Construct the house from chunky primitive meshes: a rectangular wooden floor, plank-colored side/back/front wall sections with an opening in the front, a dark-brown door, and a red/orange pitched roof made from two slanted rectangular roof panels. The house is approximately 6 units wide by 5 units deep, with walls around 2.8 units tall. If the player tries to build too early, show "Need 3 wood logs — you have X." If already built, show "Your beach house is already built." On successful construction show "House built! Welcome home 🏠". The house starts invisible and appears only after a successful build.

HUD and interaction: overlay the 3D scene with a fixed HUD. At top left, show a dark translucent rounded panel with the title "🌴 Island Timber" and the smaller hint "WASD / arrows move · mouse looks · E collects · B builds" (hide the hint on narrow mobile screens if desired). At top right, show a matching dark translucent rounded stats panel reading "🪵 Wood: 0" initially and "🏠 House: Not built" initially; update both values live. Center the white plus crosshair. Near the bottom center, show a bold white status/instruction message with a dark text shadow: initially "Find trees, collect wood, then build your beach house." Temporary collection/build/error messages replace it for about three seconds, then revert to the initial instruction. At bottom right, provide two large yellow rounded buttons with darker drop shadows labeled "COLLECT" and "BUILD". The buttons should work with pointer/touch input as well as keyboard: E collects and B builds. Preserve the chunky rounded UI, dark blue translucent panels, bright yellow action buttons, white bold text, and subtle press-down button effect shown in the screenshot.

Use responsive full-viewport rendering, preserve a bright cyan background when the scene is loading, and keep the overall style low-poly, colorful, and casual. Do not add enemies, combat, inventory systems, quests, weather, additional resources, or other mechanics beyond movement/jumping, tree collection, the three-wood requirement, and building this one beach house.
