Make your own game

Island Quest was built by Umar Raza with the Cinevva game creator: describe the game you want in chat, watch it get built, and play it in your browser minutes later.

Remix Island Quest opens the real game in the creator and forks its actual files, chat and design doc, so you start from the code rather than from a description.

Read the build brief for Island Quest

Cinevva's analyzer read this game's design doc and its source, then wrote the brief below. "Make your own" hands it to the game creator as your opening message, so you start from a real spec rather than a one-line idea.

Create a browser-based low-poly 3D third-person exploration game titled “Island Coin Quest” (also presented as “Island Quest”). The player controls a humanoid adventurer on a small, round grassy island surrounded by blue water. Use a third-person perspective with a perspective camera following behind the player; allow camera look by dragging, and keep the colorful island visible in the frame. The scene should have a bright cyan-blue sky/background with light atmospheric fog, soft shadows, and cheerful stylized low-poly visuals.

World layout: build a circular grassy island approximately 30 units across, with a slightly raised cylindrical green grass top and a sandy/tan shore rim. Place a large circular water surface around it. Add a small tan path leading toward the goal house on the right/rear side of the island. Place a quaint simple house near approximately one edge of the island: a cream/tan rectangular body, a red-orange pyramidal roof, a dark brown front door, and a small bright yellow sign/trim above the door. The house is the destination, but it should only complete the game after all coins have been collected.

Populate the island with stylized pine trees and chunky low-poly brown/green rocks. Use the visible fixed arrangement: pine trees around coordinates roughly (-9,-7), (-11,-1), (-9,7), (-4,10), (2,10), (10,7), (11,1), and (-2,-10), and rocks around (-6,-4), (-7,4), (0,7), (8,3), (2,-6), and (-10,3), relative to the island center. Trees should cast noticeable long soft shadows. The adventurer starts near (-5, 0, 6), is visibly rendered as a third-person humanoid, idles when still, and switches to walking/running animations when moving.

Core objective and collectibles: place exactly 10 upright, shiny golden coin meshes distributed across the island at approximately (-7,1), (-4,-2), (-2,3), (1,1), (3,5), (6,2), (8,-1), (4,-4), (-1,-7), and (-6,-7). Coins should hover slightly above the ground, bob gently, rotate continuously, and cast shadows. When the player comes within about 1.25 units of a visible coin, automatically collect it, hide it, and increment the counter. There are no combat mechanics, enemies, weapons, health, lives, or timer; the challenge is exploration and finding all ten treasures.

Controls: support WASD and arrow keys for movement, mouse/touch dragging to look around, Shift to run faster, and Space to jump. Use movement speed around 5.2, running through the control system, jump speed around 8, and gravity around -22. Keep the player constrained by the island/terrain using ordinary third-person movement and slope handling. The camera follows at roughly 8 units distance.

HUD and feedback: show a dark translucent rounded panel at the upper left with the gold title “ISLAND COIN QUEST” and a bold counter initially reading “Coins: 0 / 10”. Show a dark translucent instruction pill at the upper right reading “WASD / arrows to move · drag to look · Shift to run · Space to jump” (hide this hint on narrow mobile screens if needed). Along the bottom center show the instruction “Collect all 10 coins, then reach the little house.”

Win condition: once the counter reaches 10, the player must approach the house within roughly 4.3 units. Then display a full-screen semi-transparent dark overlay with a centered rounded pale yellow card saying “Island complete!”, followed by “You found all 10 coins and reached home.” and a prominent “Play again” button. The button resets the player to the starting position, restores all ten coins, resets the counter to 0 / 10, and hides the victory overlay. Do not show the victory overlay merely for collecting coins; reaching the house is required.
