Make your own game

Ionic Defender was built by Osayande Frank with the Cinevva game creator: describe the game you want in chat, watch it get built, and play it in your browser minutes later.

Remix Ionic Defender opens the real game in the creator and forks its actual files, chat and design doc, so you start from the code rather than from a description.

Read the build brief for Ionic Defender

Cinevva's analyzer read this game's design doc and its source, then wrote the brief below. "Make your own" hands it to the game creator as your opening message, so you start from a real spec rather than a one-line idea.

Create a playable third-person 3D sci-fi shooter titled “IONIC DEFENDER,” with the mission label “MISSION 01 — THE IONIC FACILITY.” Use a dark cyberpunk industrial facility at night: nearly black/navy world background with blue atmospheric fog, a large flat wet-looking dark street/floor, subtle cyan-blue grid lines across the ground, tall blocky city towers in the distance with small glowing cyan window strips, and a rectangular facility enclosure with left and right walls, a back wall, cyan inset windows, and a dark central door/sign. Place a large computer-like ionic generator/core near the back-center of the facility. Add a few damaged futuristic vehicles around the outer area as environmental props.

The player is a stylized low-poly cyberpunk humanoid soldier with a gun, positioned in the foreground and viewed from behind in an over-the-shoulder/third-person camera. Keep the camera following the player at roughly six units distance, with a centered crosshair/reticle. The player can move using WASD or an on-screen joystick through the facility, jump with Space/on-screen jump support, and face/aim toward the camera’s forward direction. Use animated idle and locomotion character actions if available. Render with cool blue/cyan lighting, dark metallic materials, strong shadows, glowing blue point lights, and a cinematic sci-fi night palette.

Spawn four hostile two-legged gun soldiers: approximately at (-7,-2), (7,-1), (-5,-7), and (5,-7) relative to the facility, with dark low-poly cyberpunk models. They idle when distant, move toward the player when within 18 units, and periodically damage the player when within 14 units; each starts with 100 health. They should visibly disappear when defeated. The player’s ionic rifle fires bright cyan spherical energy projectiles in the camera-forward direction, with a short fire cooldown of about 0.18 seconds, consuming ammunition. Each projectile travels quickly for about 1.2 seconds and deals 34 damage on enemy hit, so three direct hits defeat a full-health enemy. Show small cyan impact sparks. The player starts with 100 health, a magazine of 24 rounds, and 120 reserve rounds. Reload refills the magazine from reserve, and firing with an empty magazine triggers reload. Add an “IONIC BLAST” ability with a five-second cooldown: create a bright cyan expanding ring around the player and deal 80 damage to every enemy within six units, with impact sparks; two blasts can defeat a full-health enemy. Add a simple “COVER” button that changes the status text to “COVER // LOW PROFILE” but does not need to provide additional combat behavior, matching the source game.

The mission objective initially reads “Eliminate hostile forces.” When all four enemies are defeated, change it to “Reach the generator // ionic core unstable”; the generator does not need a separate interaction beyond being the visible destination. If player health reaches zero, stop normal play and show “CRITICAL // SYSTEM FAILURE.”

Build a fixed HUD overlay with translucent dark glass panels and thin cyan borders. At the upper left show “IONIC DEFENDER,” “MISSION 01 — THE IONIC FACILITY,” and a cyan health bar that shrinks with health. At the upper right show a panel labeled “OBJECTIVE” and the current objective. Put a small white/cyan plus-shaped reticle at screen center. Near the bottom center show the instruction “WASD / JOYSTICK TO MOVE · CLICK / FIRE TO SHOOT · SPACE / JUMP.” At bottom left show “IONIC RIFLE // ONLINE” and the ammo count as “24 / 120” initially, updating the current magazine count while keeping the reserve display. At bottom right provide circular touch buttons labeled “RELOAD,” “COVER,” “IONIC BLAST,” and “FIRE”; make the Ionic Blast button larger and more luminous cyan. Buttons should work with pointer/touch input as well as keyboard shortcuts: F fires, E activates Ionic Blast, and R reloads. Use responsive positioning so the HUD works on narrow mobile screens. Include brief laser firing audio if supported, plus glowing projectile and spark effects. Do not add menus, extra weapons, score screens, or mechanics not described here.
