Grand Observatory Hall was built by Tolga Mermer with the Cinevva game creator: describe the game you want in chat, watch it get built, and play it in your browser minutes later.
Remix Grand Observatory Hall opens the real game in the creator and forks its actual files, chat and design doc, so you start from the code rather than from a description.
Cinevva's analyzer read this game's design doc and its source, then wrote the brief below. "Make your own" hands it to the game creator as your opening message, so you start from a real spec rather than a one-line idea.
Create a first-person 3D architectural exploration game titled “The Grand Observatory Hall · Sanctum of the Outer Sky.” The player is an invisible, human-sized explorer starting near the entrance at position (0, 1.8, 22), inside a monumental Gothic/observatory nave. Use a dark, atmospheric palette: nearly black-blue background, charcoal and purple-gray stone, dark wood, aged brass and warm amber highlights. Render with a perspective first-person camera, soft shadows, fog fading into the distance, a subtle starry planetary sky beyond the far windows, and a restrained cinematic tone-mapped look. Build a long grand hall approximately 38 units wide and 58 units deep. Include a broad stone nave floor, side walls, a raised rear window wall with five enormous dark blue glass window bays divided by brass mullions, sills, and transoms, and a layered vaulted ceiling. Add symmetrical monumental columns along both sides of the central nave, with stone bases and brass capitals. Add repeated Gothic pointed/rounded monumental arch structures along the side aisles, gilded horizontal vault bands, a central raised vault spine, and thin brass inlay lines across the ceiling. The architecture should feel like a cathedral fused with an astronomical sanctuary. At the center toward the far end, create a raised rectangular astronomer’s dais with four shallow steps, a brass floor inlay, and a large astronomical astrolabe. The astrolabe consists of a brass plinth, two intersecting brass rings, a tilted brass axis, and a glowing amber planet/orb at its center. Give this centerpiece a warm amber point light so it subtly illuminates the surrounding stone. At the far apse/window end, place a circular arrangement of small brass candle/instrument posts. Add two long side balconies at about human walkable height, made of dark wood, with brass outer and inner rails, repeated brass balusters, and occasional stone buttresses. Populate the hall with repeated observatory furnishings: on the left side, several dark desks with wooden chairs arranged down the length of the hall, imported-looking modular stone columns, and CRT-like terminal silhouettes on the desks. Each terminal has a dark casing, a small amber glowing screen, and a brass top. Add subtle brass floor tracks running lengthwise and repeated brass gear rings along one side of the floor. These are environmental props only; do not add inventory, combat, puzzles, dialogue, or other mechanics. Beyond the far windows, show a dark blue planetary sky dome, sparse tiny stars, a dark exterior ground plane, and a low line of distant polygonal mountain/cone silhouettes. Keep the scene empty of enemies and NPCs. The only animated elements should be the astrolabe rings rotating slowly in opposite directions, the amber orb rotating gently, and an almost imperceptible star-field drift. Controls and interaction: on first click, capture/enter first-person mouse-look and fade out the bottom hint. Use WASD to move, Shift to run, Space to jump, mouse dragging/look to turn, and mouse wheel to zoom. Provide basic collision/grounding appropriate for the architectural environment, with gravity and jumping. The player should be able to freely walk around the hall and inspect the architecture; there is no score, health, ammo, timer, win state, or loss state. Overlay UI should be minimal and match the scene: fixed small uppercase serif title in warm gold at the top-left reading “THE GRAND OBSERVATORY HALL · SANCTUM OF THE OUTER SKY”; a tiny, faint gold outlined circular crosshair at screen center; and a centered bottom translucent near-black instruction panel with a thin brass border reading “Click to enter · WASD move · Shift run · Space jump · drag to look · wheel zoom.” Use a nearly black page background and ensure the rendered canvas fills the viewport.
