Make your own game

Glow Parade was built by Tala Ali with the Cinevva game creator: describe the game you want in chat, watch it get built, and play it in your browser minutes later.

Remix Glow Parade opens the real game in the creator and forks its actual files, chat and design doc, so you start from the code rather than from a description.

Read the build brief for Glow Parade

Cinevva's analyzer read this game's design doc and its source, then wrote the brief below. "Make your own" hands it to the game creator as your opening message, so you start from a real spec rather than a one-line idea.

Create a browser-based Three.js game titled “Glow Parade.” It is a simple interactive live disco stage rather than a movement game: the player triggers gifts to make a small cast of animated characters dance, gain Party Power, and create colorful show effects.

Use a wide, mostly fixed third-person stage camera: PerspectiveCamera around position (0, 8.2, 18.5), looking toward (0, 2.2, 0), with a 43-degree field of view. Keep the scene framed to show the floor, dancers, glowing rings, beams, smoke, and dark backdrop. Use a very dark purple background (#090018) with matching distance fog. Render with antialiasing, soft shadows, ACES filmic tone mapping, and a bright neon nightclub palette.

Build the stage from a large reflective/dark metallic dance floor (about 22 by 18), divided into glowing square tiles in alternating deep blue-purple colors, and a dark purple rectangular backdrop at the rear. Add three large horizontal neon torus rings hovering across the stage at y=1.3, 2.8, and 4.3, colored pink, cyan, and pale yellow. Add ten thin, semi-transparent colored laser beams (pink, cyan, yellow, violet) crossing diagonally overhead and across the stage; animate their rotation and pulsing opacity. Add several translucent gray-purple smoke puff groups made from overlapping low-opacity spheres that slowly rise and recycle.

Place five animated 3D characters using low-poly/cartoon GLB-style models: two larger soldier/hero characters toward the left and right at approximately (-4.1,-0.4) and (4.1,-0.4), and three cute monster characters nearer the center at (-1.65,-1.3), (1.65,-1.3), and (0,-3.0). The original uses Blue Soldier Male and Blue Soldier Female models for the two heroes and Chicken and Alien models for the monsters; use equivalent visibly similar animated character assets if those exact assets are unavailable. Face the cast generally toward the camera. Give the two heroes small colorful cone-shaped capes and glowing gold chest badges. Enable cast and receive shadows. On startup, play each character’s Idle animation.

The cast should subtly bob and sway even while idle. On a Rose activation, switch everyone to a looping Dance animation for about 3.8 seconds, with pink lighting and a pink firework burst. On a Lion activation, switch everyone to a looping Victory animation for about 3.8 seconds, with stronger yellow lighting and both yellow and pink firework bursts; the lion response should have a more energetic bob. After the response ends, return all characters to Idle. Characters should move only in small rhythmic offsets around their starting positions, not walk around the stage.

Add a simple score system called PARTY POWER. Start at 0. A Rose gift adds 25 points and a Lion gift adds 100 points. Display the updated score immediately. The only game actions are the two gift triggers: a bottom-centered rounded pink button labeled “🌹 Rose — special dance” and a rounded yellow/orange button labeled “🦁 Lion — grand entrance.” Support pointer/touch activation and keyboard keys 1 for Rose and 2 for Lion. On the first interaction, start a quiet repeating synthesized disco melody with an oscillator sequence (square-wave notes around 220, 277.18, 329.63, 440 Hz, etc.) so browser audio begins after user input.

For visual feedback, Rose briefly changes a stage point light to hot pink and emits about 35 small pink glowing particles from the center stage. Lion briefly changes the light to pale yellow, emits about 100 yellow particles plus about 70 pink particles, and uses a stronger flash. Particles should fly outward/upward, fall under gravity, shrink, and disappear after roughly 1–2 seconds. Add pink and cyan point lights to illuminate the stage and dancers.

Overlay a responsive HTML HUD over the canvas. At the top left, show a translucent gradient rounded panel with large letter-spaced “GLOW PARADE” and the subtitle “LIVE DISCO PARTY • WIDE CAMERA MODE.” At the top right, show a translucent rounded panel reading “PARTY POWER” and a large pale-yellow numeric score. Near the top center, show a pill-shaped hint reading “Tap a gift to kick off the show — keys 1 and 2 work too.” At the bottom center, place the two pill buttons side by side on wide screens and wrapping on narrow screens. Use white text, subtle borders and shadows, and neon pink/cyan/yellow accents; keep the HUD pointer-events disabled except for the buttons. Make it responsive for portrait mobile screens while keeping the fixed stage camera and full-screen canvas visible.
