Make your own game

FUNLAND CO. was built by Abhitej with the Cinevva game creator: describe the game you want in chat, watch it get built, and play it in your browser minutes later.

Remix FUNLAND CO. opens the real game in the creator and forks its actual files, chat and design doc, so you start from the code rather than from a description.

Cinevva's analyzer read this game's design doc and its source, then wrote the brief below. "Make your own" hands it to the game creator as your opening message, so you start from a real spec rather than a one-line idea.

Create a first-person 3D atmospheric horror-adventure game titled “FUNLAND CO. — Chapter 1: The Last Laugh,” set inside a dark abandoned Funland Co. entertainment factory. Use a Three.js-style real-time 3D scene with a perspective FPS camera, mouse look, WASD movement, jumping, and interaction via E or clicking while aiming at nearby objects. The player starts at approximately the front of a long factory hall, with a small white crosshair fixed at screen center. Movement should feel like a human-scale first-person exploration game, with solid collision on the factory boundaries and raised platforms/catwalks.

Visual style: nearly black blue-gray industrial interiors, heavy darkness and fog, sparse moonlike blue ambient/directional lighting, warm brass/gold trim, deep crimson emergency doors and machinery, and a red warning light glowing in the distance. Use high contrast and restrained colors, with an eerie VHS/security-camera presentation. The environment is a large rectangular factory shell: dark floor, tall side walls, front and back walls, repeated gold ceiling beams, and thin gold floor stripes. Build a parkour route through the hall with a raised gold-edged catwalk on the left, a higher central catwalk farther back, an even higher catwalk on the right/back, and a red drop platform near the rear-right. Include red wall-mounted emergency doors, industrial machines, large crates, and a broken amusement-ride/coaster piece as factory props.

At the start, show an overlay HUD: top-left “FUNLAND CO.” with spaced lettering; top-right a translucent dark objective panel reading “CHAPTER 1” and “Find the security keycard.”; center crosshair; bottom-left “REC 1997 · CAM 04 · SIGNAL UNSTABLE”; and a large bottom-center outlined button reading “ENTER THE FACTORY.” Before starting, keep the game waiting. When the player starts, hide the button, briefly show a centered chapter title card “THE LAST LAUGH” and subtitle “CHAPTER 1 · FUNLAND CO. ENTERTAINMENT FACTORY,” then begin ambient audio and display a subtitle such as “Welcome home, employee. The lights are still on somewhere.” Subtitles appear in a dark translucent box near the bottom with a gold accent line and fade away; spoken dialogue may be accompanied by speech synthesis and simple tonal sound effects.

Core progression must match these steps exactly. First, the objective is to find a cyan security keycard placed around x=9, y=1.25, z=-6 on the factory route. It is a small glowing cyan rectangular card lying/angled in the space and can be collected only by aiming at it from within roughly four units and pressing E or clicking. On collection, hide the card, update the objective to “Restore power at 3 switch boxes.”, show a clearance subtitle, and play a short power sound.

After collecting the card, the player must activate three red rectangular power switches, each positioned near one of the machines/route areas: approximately (-9, 1.6, -7), (10, 1.6, 3), and (0, 1.6, -18). Each switch is initially red and becomes gold/yellow when activated. Require aiming at it within roughly four units and interacting; ignore activation before the keycard is obtained. Update the HUD after each activation to “Power restored: 1/3,” then “Power restored: 2/3,” and after the third to “Power restored: 3/3” followed by “Reach the loading bay.” Use short power-on sounds and contextual subtitles such as “One more circuit. Listen for the hum.”

Once all three switches are active, reveal the boss character at the rear: The Ringmaster, a large golden animatronic sun-faced mascot wearing a crimson coat and black top hat, with a ring of sun rays around his face, glowing red eyes, and a tall golden cane ending in a ring. He starts around the rear center at z=-22. The boss should slowly sway/rotate and move side-to-side near the back of the factory. Trigger an alarm and a warning red point light when he appears, with the subtitle: “PA ANNOUNCEMENT: Ringmaster protocol is active. Please remain still for your final performance.”

The escape sequence begins when the player gets within roughly four units of the Ringmaster. Change the objective to “ESCAPE THE RINGMASTER — reach the crane gate.”, intensify the red warning light, and show the subtitle “Run, little star! The show cannot end without you.” The player wins/unlocks the next chapter by reaching the rear loading/crane-gate area: specifically, the player must be past z=-20 and to the right side x>6. Then hide the Ringmaster, stop the chase, set the game to Chapter 2, update the HUD to “Chapter 2 unlocked.”, and play the subtitle “CRANE OPERATOR: Bay doors opening. Chapter 2 begins below.” Run a roughly four-second camera cutscene that smoothly moves the camera toward approximately (7,6,-19) while looking toward the loading bay around (5,2,-21). At the end, display “CHAPTER 2 — THE LOWER WORKS” and the subtitle “The crane drops you into the dark. Something is laughing underneath.” Chapter 2 does not need to be built beyond this unlocked end state.

Lighting and rendering should support soft shadows, fog that reduces visibility toward the far end of the hall, ACES-like filmic tone mapping, and a black-blue background. Add a warm red point light around the rear warning area and cool moonlike directional light from above. Include ambient background music that starts only after entering the factory, plus simple oscillator-style sounds for click, power activation, and alarm. Keep all interactions and objective changes clearly represented in the HUD. The game should be atmospheric exploration and escape rather than combat: there are no weapons, health bars, inventory UI, or attacks.
