Factory Rift was built by zdixon321 with the Cinevva game creator: describe the game you want in chat, watch it get built, and play it in your browser minutes later.
Remix Factory Rift opens the real game in the creator and forks its actual files, chat and design doc, so you start from the code rather than from a description.
Cinevva's analyzer read this game's design doc and its source, then wrote the brief below. "Make your own" hands it to the game creator as your opening message, so you start from a real spec rather than a one-line idea.
Create a browser-playable 3D top-down roguelike arena survival game titled “Factory Rift.” Use Three.js or an equivalent real-time 3D engine. The camera is a perspective camera positioned high above and slightly behind the player (roughly at x=0, y=28, z=25), looking down at the player and smoothly following them. The world is a dark sci-fi factory/rift arena: a large circular dark blue-gray floor about 31 units in radius, with a thin glowing subdued blue perimeter ring and a square grid pattern across the floor. Use a nearly black navy background, light fog, soft cool hemisphere lighting, a strong directional light, shadows, and emissive colored enemies/projectiles. Keep the presentation minimalist and neon-accented rather than detailed or realistic. The player begins in the center as a small pale capsule-like humanoid/robot with a simple rectangular weapon arm. Start with the Hylion weapon “Busted Wooden Plank,” a melee weapon that deals 16 damage, attacks every 0.72 seconds, reaches 2.25 units, and has a 1.25-radian attack arc. It is explicitly a busted Hylion item and has no blocking perk. The player has 100/100 HP, base movement speed 7, level 1, 5% critical chance, and starts with Hylion recorded as their only collected manufacturer. The player’s movement direction is also their facing/aim direction: WASD or arrow keys move in the horizontal arena and update facing; holding J manually fires the equipped weapon in that direction. Do not make attacks auto-target enemies. For mobile, provide a left virtual joystick and four round buttons labeled Dash, Fire, Use, and Block. Build wave-based survival. Wave 1 contains 12 incoming creatures (the code’s formula is 8 + wave*4); spawn them around the arena edge at a gradually increasing rate. A wave ends only after its fixed spawn count has been reached and all enemies are dead, then pause gameplay and show a centered upgrade selection overlay. Later waves spawn more enemies, spawn faster, increase enemy HP/speed slightly, and unlock more enemy types. Wave 5 may spawn two enemies at once. The player loses when HP reaches zero; show a centered “Rift Closed On You” game-over card stating the reached wave, score, and collected manufacturer technology, with a Restart Run button. Implement these color-coded enemies as simple glowing low-poly meshes: red spherical Emberlings (18 HP, speed 3, contact damage 8, basic chasers); blue spherical Frost Wisps (14 HP, speed 2.1, damage 7, XP 9) available from wave 2, which maintain a preferred range around 11 and periodically fire blue enemy shots at the player; yellow octahedral Volt Runners (12 HP, speed 4.6, damage 6, fragile fast chasers); purple spherical Iron Brutes (52 HP, speed 1.6, damage 18, XP 18) appearing from wave 3; and green Moss Mothers (36 HP, speed 1.45, damage 5, XP 14) from wave 4, which chase and periodically spawn small red Emberlings nearby. Enemies should be kept inside the circular boundary, collide/separate from each other, visibly flash brighter when hit, and glow more strongly while slowed. Contact damage should knock the player back briefly and include brief invulnerability frames. The player can dash with Space or Shift, or the mobile Dash button, if moving: dash for 0.16 seconds at triple movement speed, become invulnerable during the dash, and use a 1.8-second cooldown modified by upgrades. Holding Q or the mobile Block button should only block when the equipped weapon is a real Hylion weapon with a block value; blocking reduces incoming damage to 35%. Show a translucent green wireframe bubble around the player while blocking. Weapons with an Eridian manufacturer movement-slow value reduce player movement speed while equipped. Create the full weapon loot system. Enemy kills award score equal to XP*10 and XP; enemies have a chance to drop golden glowing cube loot crates, or less commonly blue glowing octahedral XP drops. Drops stay on the floor and bob/spin; they are not automatically collected. When the player is within 2 units times pickup-range upgrades, show a bottom-left prompt such as “Press E to open loot.” or “Press E to collect XP.” Press E or mobile Use to collect the nearest drop. XP drops award 12 + wave*2 XP and 25 score. Leveling occurs at 40 XP initially, with the next threshold increasing by roughly 1.27x plus 12; pause and show a three-choice run-upgrade overlay on level-up. Loot crates pause the game and show a centered “Loot Drop” card with three randomly chosen weapon choices plus “Keep Current”; equipping a weapon updates the player’s weapon and adds its manufacturer to the collected manufacturer badges. Keeping the current weapon grants 30 score. Include these weapon pools and behavior faithfully: Jakobian long-range, heavy, slow weapons such as Rustbarrel Pike (42 damage, range 23, 1.1 cooldown), Far-Field Carbine, Rail-Hammer (58 damage, range 30 and pierces one), and Horizon Musket; Hylion melee weapons such as Guard Spear, Door-Kicker Maul, Counterhook, and Greenwall Glaive, each with melee arc/range and a temporary block pulse; Tedion weak ranged healing weapons including Rosy Injector, Field Bandager, Heartpopper shotgun, and Pink Remedy, which heal the player on firing/hits; Eridian rapid-fire spread weapons such as Needle Storm, Blue Stinger, Blink Repeater, and Comet Hose, with very short cooldowns but movement slowdown; and Archenondrian tight-spread shotguns and lasers including Close Comet, Prism Laser, Needle Choke, and Splitbeam. Support melee swings, directional projectiles, spread/pellets, piercing projectiles, instant laser lines with brief visible beam effects, weapon healing, enemy slowing, and floating damage/healing numbers. The equipped weapon’s manufacturer should determine its accent color: Jakobian ochre, Hylion green, Tedion pink, Eridian blue, Archenondrian violet, and Hybrid yellow. When the player has equipped/owned at least one weapon from each of Jakobian, Hylion, Tedion, Eridian, and Archenondrian, unlock Hybrid weapons and immediately spawn a bonus golden loot crate near the player. Add Hybrid Rift Loom, Anchorbeam, Thousand-Plank, Rootsong Rifle, Sunbite Splitter, and Mercy Maul, with combined perks such as healing, blocking, piercing, slowing, shockwaves, split shots, and melee shockwaves. Display a “Hybrid drops unlocked” badge after unlocking. At every cleared wave and level-up, offer three random choices from these run upgrades: Sharpen Everything (+18% weapon damage), Greased Boots (+10% movement speed), Quick Hands (-12% weapon cooldown), Bigger Health Bar (+22 max HP and heal it), Magnet Habit (+35% XP/loot pickup range), Weak-Spot Notes (+8% crit chance), Emergency Slide (reduce dash cooldown), and Tedion Aftertaste (slow health regeneration). Critical hits deal 1.85x damage. Add simple hit-burst rings, projectile visuals, temporary laser beams, bobbing drops, floating numbers, enemy death bursts, and weapon-colored melee slash arcs. Use a fixed HTML HUD over the canvas with pointer-events disabled except for controls. At the top left, show a translucent rounded dark panel with “Wave 1 Score 0,” “HP 100 / 100,” “Level 1 XP 0% Kills 0,” and an enemy count such as “Enemies 0 / 12.” At the top right show the weapon name in its manufacturer color, a description line in the format “[Manufacturer] [type] — [description] Press J/Fire to use,” and rounded manufacturer badges for Jakobian, Hylion, Tedion, Eridian, and Archenondrian; uncollected badges are gray and collected ones use their accent color. Near the bottom left show status messages and contextual E/Use prompts. Near the bottom right show the hint “WASD / arrows move and aim. Hold J / Fire to attack. Press E / Use near loot or XP to collect it.” Place the joystick at bottom left and the four circular action buttons at bottom right, with touch-safe pointer interactions. Upgrade, loot, and game-over cards should dim the arena with a translucent overlay and use rounded dark panels and large selectable cards.
