Make your own game

Escape From Supriya was built by dark with the Cinevva game creator: describe the game you want in chat, watch it get built, and play it in your browser minutes later.

Remix Escape From Supriya opens the real game in the creator and forks its actual files, chat and design doc, so you start from the code rather than from a description.

Read the build brief for Escape From Supriya

Cinevva's analyzer read this game's design doc and its source, then wrote the brief below. "Make your own" hands it to the game creator as your opening message, so you start from a real spec rather than a one-line idea.

Create a first-person 3D horror escape game titled “Escape From Supriya.” Use Three.js-style browser 3D rendering with a perspective first-person camera, mouse-look via pointer lock, and a dark, oppressive abandoned indoor maze. The player begins in a large maze-like building and must find the physical exit door before the pursuer catches them.

Core gameplay: Start the game from a title menu, then place the player at the entrance area in first-person view. Use WASD to move, mouse movement to look around, Space to jump, Shift while moving straight forward to sprint with acceleration, and Escape to pause. The player collides with the maze walls and cannot walk through them. The level is bounded by a large square building and contains many beige/brown interior partitions forming long corridors, rooms, and dead ends. Include a shallow indoor swimming-pool area in one corner/section: a rectangular basin with dark teal water, surrounding walls, stained edges, and small steps. The goal is to reach a clearly visible physical exit door in the maze; trigger victory when the player gets close to it.

Enemy: Place a humanoid figure named Supriya somewhere randomly in the maze at the beginning of each run, away from the player, the exit, and the pool. Represent her as a tall, unsettling billboard/sprite portrait facing generally toward the player; support an optional uploaded image called “Supriya Image” and use it as the portrait texture both in the menu background and on the in-game figure. Initially she does not pursue the player. When the player comes within about 10 units, change the objective text to “RUN. FIND THE EXIT.” and have Supriya chase relentlessly. She navigates around walls using a grid/pathfinding route, moves slightly faster than the player, and catches the player when within roughly 1.45 units. On capture, stop gameplay and show a horror game-over panel titled “SHE FOUND YOU” with the message “The corridor closes around you.” and buttons for “RESTART” and “MAIN MENU.”

Environment and visual style: Make the scene grimy and low-lit, with a 140-by-140 floor and ceiling, dirty tan/gold walls, mottled brown floor, and a stained gray-beige ceiling. Use procedural speckled/stained textures rather than clean solid colors. Add a dark brown-black background and distance fog so corridors disappear into darkness. The ceiling has repeated long fluorescent tube fixtures in a grid, with intermittent flicker; add several warm point lights that also flicker irregularly. Include subtle low floor haze. The exit is a dark reddish-brown door with a small warm yellow fluorescent/glowing strip above it. The overall palette is sepia, dirty gold, brown, black, muted teal, and blood red. Keep the first-person camera low enough to feel like a human-sized player, with a tiny pale crosshair at the screen center.

Atmosphere and sound: Provide a quiet electrical ambience/drone and fluorescent hum, player footstep sounds while moving, heavier/darker Supriya footsteps during pursuit, and a heartbeat effect that becomes more frequent as she approaches. Add slight camera shake during a close chase. On capture, apply a brief glitch/contrast/color distortion effect. Do not add weapons, combat, inventory, collectibles, health, or scoring; survival and reaching the exit are the only mechanics.

Interface: The title screen should be a centered dark translucent panel over a nearly black background, with thin brown borders, subtle VHS scanlines/flicker, drifting background imagery if a portrait has been uploaded, and a few dark blood-drip decorations. Display the large stacked red serif title “ESCAPE FROM SUPRIYA,” subtitle “THE HALLS REMEMBER,” and buttons “START GAME” and “OPTIONS.” Options should include an image upload for Supriya, master volume, ambience/music volume, effects volume, and mouse sensitivity sliders. During play, show only small understated text at top-left: “ESCAPE FROM SUPRIYA” and the current objective (“Find the exit.” initially), plus the center crosshair. Include a pause screen with “PAUSED,” “RESUME,” “OPTIONS,” and “MAIN MENU.” On victory, show a panel titled “YOU ESCAPED” in a muted gold color with the message “The fluorescent hum falls silent.” and buttons “PLAY AGAIN” and “MAIN MENU.” Use elegant serif typography, restrained UI, heavy shadows, and a claustrophobic cinematic horror presentation.
