Make your own game

Emberbound was built by Maximka Omejka with the Cinevva game creator: describe the game you want in chat, watch it get built, and play it in your browser minutes later.

Remix Emberbound opens the real game in the creator and forks its actual files, chat and design doc, so you start from the code rather than from a description.

Read the build brief for Emberbound

Cinevva's analyzer read this game's design doc and its source, then wrote the brief below. "Make your own" hands it to the game creator as your opening message, so you start from a real spec rather than a one-line idea.

Create a responsive single-page fantasy RPG prototype titled “Emberbound,” with a polished heroic mobile-RPG presentation inside a centered rounded app shell. Use a dark midnight-purple outer background with a subtle radial glow and a cream parchment-like interior. The app shell should have a purple gradient top bar, the EMBERBOUND wordmark in large serif type with “BOUND” accented gold, and a small right-aligned screen breadcrumb. Use warm cream, plum, muted lavender, gold, rose, and mint colors, serif headings, and clean Arial-like sans-serif body text. The layout must work on desktop and mobile: desktop uses a centered rounded shell with shadow, while mobile fills the viewport and stacks cards vertically.

Implement three sequential screens with real clickable interactions and no invented systems. Screen 1 is hero selection, labeled “HERO SELECT.” Show the eyebrow “Chapter One · The Starfall Oath,” the heading “Choose your hero,” and copy explaining that every journey begins with one brave soul. Display three selectable hero cards in a three-column desktop grid (one column on mobile). Each card is a rounded off-white panel with a large pastel radial-gradient art area, full-body stylized SVG/cartoon hero illustration, role pill, name, title/description, and stat pills. The heroes and exact values are:
- Lyra, “Moon Oracle,” role Support, lavender/purple outfit, moon-themed accent, description “Reads the stars and bends moonlight around her allies.”, 92 HP, 18 Power.
- Kael, “Ember Knight,” role Vanguard, red outfit, orange/gold accent and spark motif, description “A steadfast blade with a spark that refuses to die.”, 116 HP, 23 Power.
- Sylva, “Grove Warden,” role Ranger, green outfit, lime accent and arrow/leaf motif, description “Hunts in silence, guided by roots older than kings.”, 84 HP, 27 Power.
The illustrations should visibly be simple friendly full-body figures with round heads, hair, small eyes and smiles, colored robes, accent chest diamonds, hanging arms, dark boots, and a soft oval ground shadow. Lyra has pale lavender hair and a crescent symbol, Kael dark hair and a star/spark, Sylva brown hair and an arrow-like symbol. Clicking a card selects it, adds a gold outline/glow, and re-renders the screen. A centered gold/orange gradient button at the bottom reads “Choose an adventure →”; it is disabled and faded until a hero is selected. Include the footer note “Original fantasy adventure · a playable prototype inspired by heroic mobile RPGs.”

After selection, clicking the adventure button opens screen 2 labeled “ADVENTURE MAP.” Preserve the chosen hero in the eyebrow, then show “Choose an adventure” and copy “Scout the map, chase a rumor, and return with something worth keeping.” Display three selectable adventure cards in a three-column desktop grid, stacked on mobile. Each is a rounded cream card with a large sigil, threat label, title, flavor text, and reward tag:
- “The Hollow Glade,” sigil crescent moon, THREAT I, “Whispering trees hide a relic beneath their roots.”, reward “Moonseed Charm,” enemy Mossbound Stalker, enemy HP 70, enemy Power 13.
- “Ashen Citadel,” sigil rook/castle, THREAT II, “Climb the broken keep before the cinders awaken.”, reward “Ember Sigil,” enemy Cinder Warden, enemy HP 92, enemy Power 17.
- “Vault of Echoes,” sigil four-point star, THREAT III, “A sealed vault promises riches — and a hungry shadow.”, reward “Echo Crown,” enemy Gilded Shade, enemy HP 112, enemy Power 22.
Include a “← Change hero” ghost button that returns to hero selection. Clicking an adventure immediately starts its battle.

Screen 3 is labeled “BATTLEFIELD.” Initialize the selected hero at their maximum HP and the selected enemy at its listed HP. Show an eyebrow like “[adventure name] · Encounter,” heading “Battle for the relic,” copy “Read the enemy's rhythm. Strike when the opening appears.” and a crossed-swords decorative rune. Use a two-column battle layout on desktop, stacked on mobile. On the left, create a large rounded illustrated arena with a lavender sky fading into dusty rose and brown ground, scattered pale star symbols near the top, and two opposing full-body SVG/cartoon figures: the selected hero on the left and a shadowy purple enemy on the right, with the enemy portrait horizontally mirrored. Place “VS” between them. Under each fighter show their name and a colored horizontal HP bar whose fill updates accurately as HP changes; enemy bars use a purple-to-rose gradient and hero bars use rose-to-gold.

The enemy illustration should be a dark fantasy creature with a purple cloak/body, angular horn/crown silhouette, glowing gold eyes, pink mouth, dark legs, outstretched arms, and a shadow ellipse. On the right, show stacked off-white rounded panels. The first says “Encounter Objective” and “Defeat the [enemy] and search the battlefield for [reward].” The second contains a scrollable combat log and two action buttons: “⚔ Attack” and “✦ Hero skill.” The third is initially hidden except for the locked state and says “The relic waits...” with a lock icon and “Win the battle to reveal the treasure.”

Make battle turns deterministic in structure but use random damage variation. When Attack is clicked, increase the turn counter and deal hero Power plus a random integer from 0 through 6 damage. When Hero skill is clicked, deal hero Power + 10 plus a random integer from 0 through 7 damage, and log that the hero “casts Starfall”; normal attacks log that the hero “strikes.” Clamp enemy HP at zero. If the enemy survives, it retaliates for enemy Power plus a random integer from 0 through 6 damage, clamped at zero, and log the retaliation. If the enemy reaches zero, mark the battle won, reveal the treasure panel with a gift icon, heading “Treasure discovered!”, text stating that the reward was found and the path ahead opens, and a “Return to map” button. Add a log entry that the enemy falls and treasure glints nearby. Disable both action buttons after victory or when the hero reaches zero. If the hero falls, add “Your hero falls — but every legend starts again.” to the combat log; do not invent a separate restart system beyond the existing navigation. The Return to map button goes back to the adventure map. Keep the presentation tactile with hover lift effects on cards, soft shadows, rounded 12–24px corners, gold focus/selection styling, and smooth HP bar transitions.
