Make your own game

Diamond Duel was built by brydenbarrera13 with the Cinevva game creator: describe the game you want in chat, watch it get built, and play it in your browser minutes later.

Remix Diamond Duel opens the real game in the creator and forks its actual files, chat and design doc, so you start from the code rather than from a description.

Cinevva's analyzer read this game's design doc and its source, then wrote the brief below. "Make your own" hands it to the game creator as your opening message, so you start from a real spec rather than a one-line idea.

Rebuild a browser-based 3D arcade baseball game titled “Diamond Duel,” subtitled “Nine Inning Showdown.” Use a dark navy/teal stadium presentation with a third-person elevated camera looking diagonally down the baseball diamond from behind home plate toward center field. Render a stylized low-poly 3D ballpark: a large circular green grass field, white home plate and three white bases, chalk foul lines, a raised brown pitcher’s mound, a dark teal outfield wall, two tall foul poles, stadium banner props around the field, and a championship trophy prop near the right side. Light the scene with bright warm directional sunlight, cool blue rim lighting, soft shadows, and atmospheric fog. Show a white baseball with a visible red seam and a wooden bat near home plate. Use animated low-poly humanoid GLB-style characters for the batter, pitcher, and baserunners; recolor their clothing/accessories by team colors and use idle, pitching/holding, swing, and miss/attack animations where available.

At launch, display a full-screen dark translucent team-selection overlay over the dimly visible ballpark. At the top say “CHOOSE YOUR TEAM,” then “Choose how to play.” Provide two large mode buttons: “🤖 Play vs CPU” and “👥 2 Player Mode,” with the selected mode highlighted gold. Below, say “Then pick your team,” followed by vertically stacked rounded buttons for exactly these ten selectable teams: ⚔️ Trojans, 🤠 Cowboys, 👑 Kings, 🚀 Astronauts, 🎸 Band, 👨‍🍳 Chefs, 🛡️ Vikings, 🏴‍☠️ Pirates, 🕵️ Thieves, and 🥷 Ninjas. Keep team buttons disabled until a mode is chosen and show “Loading character teams…” / “Now choose your team” status text. Once a team is selected, hide the overlay and begin the game against another team (in CPU mode the opponent is CPU-controlled; in 2 Player mode the opponent is Player 2). Use distinct themed colors and optionally recognizable character silhouettes/accessories: Trojans red/gold warrior, Cowboys blue/gold cowboy, Kings red/gold with a crown, Astronauts blue/white, Band purple/gold with guitar, Chefs white/pink, Vikings teal/tan, Pirates blue/gold, Thieves dark purple, Ninjas black/purple.

The game is a nine-inning, top-and-bottom baseball showdown. The player-selected team bats in the top half and pitches/fields in the bottom half. The HUD is always overlaid on the 3D scene: a top-left dark glass panel with gold “DIAMOND DUEL,” title “Nine Inning Showdown,” and matchup text such as “Trojans vs Cowboys • CPU” or “• 2 Player”; a top-right stats panel showing Runs, Count (balls-strikes), Half (T1/B1 through T9/B9), and Outs; a centered result/message panel below the top bar; a bottom-center gold/orange rounded action button labeled “SPACE BAR” during batting or pitching; a small bottom hint describing the active controls; and a RESTART button only after game over. Use responsive mobile-friendly rounded glass UI, white text, muted blue-gray secondary text, and gold/yellow highlights.

During the top half, show the selected team’s batter at home plate and the opponent pitcher on the mound. Automatically send a pitch toward the plate after a brief delay. The ball travels from the pitcher toward home plate in real time, with most pitches centered but occasional pitches far to either side. In CPU mode, pitches are usually fastballs with a chance of curveballs that move laterally. The player must swing once, timed as the ball reaches the plate; briefly change the message to “NOW!” when the ball is in the hitting window. Support the Space bar and the on-screen button; in two-player mode P1 can also press W. Evaluate timing and horizontal accuracy: a well-timed, centered swing connects, while a mistimed or off-center swing is a swing and miss and adds a strike. On successful contact, choose a result based on quality: single, double, triple, or home run. Animate the batter swing and launch the ball into the outfield with different trajectories. Display messages such as “SINGLE — batter on first,” “DOUBLE — ball into the outfield,” “TRIPLE — ball off the wall,” and “HOME RUN — over the fence!”

Implement baseball count rules: called pitches over the plate add strikes; pitches outside add balls; three strikes make an out; four balls award a walk to first. Keep visible occupied bases highlighted gold and spawn a matching low-poly runner on each occupied base. Advance runners appropriately after singles, doubles, triples, and home runs, increment Runs when runners score, and clear/advance bases according to the hit. Allow stealing in the top half: in CPU mode press S; in two-player mode press E. Move the furthest available runner one base at a time with a visible animated run, randomly resolve the steal as safe or caught, block the attempt if the next base is occupied, and show messages such as “Runner takes off for the next base!”, “Runner is safe at second!”, “The catcher throws the runner out!”, or “No runner is on base.”

In the bottom half, put the selected team’s player on the mound and the opponent batter at home. In CPU mode the user pitches and the CPU batter automatically decides whether to swing as the ball reaches the plate; use the action button or Space to pitch a fastball, and use two quick Space presses to select a curveball. In two-player mode P1 pitches with W or the action button, while P2 swings with the Up Arrow or the action button when the ball arrives; one Up Arrow/Space pitch is a fastball and two quick presses select a curveball. Allow the bottom-half batter to hit singles, doubles, or home runs with a success chance based on timing, and resolve missed swings as strikes. Support bottom-half steals in two-player mode with Down Arrow. Keep the same count, outs, baserunner, message, and animated ball behavior for both halves.

After three outs, switch from top to bottom or bottom to the next inning, reset the count and bases, and update the half indicator. Continue through nine innings; after the final bottom half, stop gameplay, show GAME OVER and a final score message such as “Final score: 3 runs after 9 innings,” and reveal RESTART. Ensure the camera remains fixed and readable on desktop and mobile, the overlay buttons and action controls work with pointer/touch input, and keyboard controls prevent page scrolling while playing. The overall style should be polished, dark, cinematic, arcade-like 3D baseball with prominent gold interaction highlights and clear immediate feedback.”,
