Currach Oath was built by Darien Savoie with the Cinevva game creator: describe the game you want in chat, watch it get built, and play it in your browser minutes later.
Remix Currach Oath opens the real game in the creator and forks its actual files, chat and design doc, so you start from the code rather than from a description.
Cinevva's analyzer read this game's design doc and its source, then wrote the brief below. "Make your own" hands it to the game creator as your opening message, so you start from a real spec rather than a one-line idea.
Recreate a browser-based third-person 3D educational crafting adventure titled “Currach Oath.” The game takes place on a mossy Irish Atlantic craft island under a pale storm-blue sky with low warm sunlight, fog, clouds, a glowing eclipsed sun/halo, layered blue tidal water, and distant fantasy dressing. Use a cinematic low-poly fantasy-realism style: soft shadows, warm wood and hazel colors, dark translucent rounded HUD panels, glowing gold/green craft rings, and simple stylized characters and props. The camera is a smooth elevated over-the-shoulder/isometric perspective that follows the player, looking downward across the island; while boating it follows the skiff from higher behind. The environment should include a large grassy/mossy island and sandy shoreline, animated gently undulating water, rocks, grass, logs, a hazel coppice, a timber dock, workshop bench, teaching chalkboard, steam pit with wisps, crates, rope crate, barrel/tar props, tools, stone pillars, Celtic ruin arches, floating blue rune shards, ember-like particles, an animated mentor warrior Aedan, a white wolf spirit near the coppice, and a distant flying tide-wyrm/dragon near the shore. Place a small reference rowboat by the water. The player is a small stylized human craftsperson wearing a dark teal wool tunic/cape, with a simple capsule body and tan spherical head. Start them on foot at the lower part of the main island. Movement is direct 3D movement with WASD or arrow keys on desktop; provide a left virtual joystick on touch devices. Press E on desktop or a large “Build” button on mobile to interact, and R or a “Reset” button to restart. Movement speed is about 5.1 on foot, with world bounds. Show an unobtrusive desktop help pill explaining movement, E, reset, and timing; on mobile show the joystick and Build/Reset buttons. Build the core loop around ten sequential, location-based craft stations, shown as glowing rings with posts/signs. The player must approach a station and press E/Build. Stations only activate when their required inventory is present. The sequence is: (1) Read the Oath Plan at the rune teaching board; (2) Harvest Hazel with Respect in the coppice; (3) Split Rods by Grain at the bench; (4) Steam-Bend the Ribs at the steam pit; (5) Raise the Ribbed Frame by setting keel and ribs; (6) Lash the Gunwales; (7) Stretch the Living Skin using a covering bundle pickup; (8) Stitch the Oath Edge; (9) Seal with Black Tar using a tar pickup; (10) Fit Thwarts and Oars; and (11) Launch Against the Wyrm at the shore. Preserve the exact progression and resource logic: studying gives plan; collecting the eight individual hazel rod pickups gives hazel; splitting consumes 8 hazel and gives 8 split rods; bending consumes 8 split rods and gives 8 ribs; raising the frame consumes 8 ribs and gives a ribbed frame; lashing consumes the ribbed frame and gives a lashed frame; covering requires a lashed frame plus one hide/canvas bundle and gives a covered hull; stitching consumes the covered hull and gives a stitched hull; sealing requires stitched hull plus one tar and gives a sealed hull; fitting out consumes the sealed hull and gives a ready boat; launching consumes the ready boat and wins. There are exactly eight hazel rod pickups scattered in the coppice, one pale canvas/hide bundle, and one dark tar pot. Pickups disappear when collected and trigger a short lesson popup. Each craft station launches a hands-on timing minigame. Display a bottom-center dark translucent crafting panel with station name and percentage progress, a progress bar, a moving white needle, and a green timing zone from 60% to 78%. While working, the player cannot move. Pressing E/Build advances progress by 42 when the needle is in the green zone and by 26 otherwise; each press counts as a hit, increases quality by 2 for a good timing hit or 1 otherwise, creates small flying craft chips/particles, and plays a wood impact sound. Finish when progress reaches 100 or the station’s hit count reaches its configured work amount (2 for plan, 3 for hazel, 3 split, 4 bend, 4 keel/frame, 4 lash, 4 cover, 3 stitch, 4 tar, 3 oars, 3 launch). On completion consume/give the relevant inventory items, mark that step complete, add score 90 plus a quality-based bonus capped at 40, show the station’s educational lesson, and reveal more of the partially built currach. Launch additionally adds 250 points and sets the win state. The boat should visibly assemble in stages: hazel keel line, curved ribs, gunwales, dark lashings, pale skin/covering, edge stitches, glossy black tar coating, then three thwarts/seats and oars. On launch move the completed currach to the water and give it a slight floating bob/roll. Include concise educational lesson popups after each completed step, with an instruction to press E/Build to dismiss. Ground the lessons in the implemented text: planning weight/rib spacing/gunwales/covering; sustainable coppiced hazel; splitting with the grain to preserve long fibres; heat and moisture for gradual steam bending; many ribs sharing stress in a flexible light hull; flexible lashings for rough Atlantic water; hide or canvas stretched smooth and tight; neat stitching preventing tears; tar/pitch waterproofing; thwarts bracing the hull and oars enabling rowing; and light currachs being carryable and suited to rough shores. Use the story framing that Aedan, last keeper of the yard, asks the player to rebuild the Storm Oath before the guardian wyrm returns, but do not add combat or enemies attacking the player. After the player has access to the exploration currach at the dock, pressing E/Build near the dock boards them. Hide the player and switch to boat mode, showing a small dark black-hulled currach/skiff with a hazel inner rib, three seats, and two oars. Boat movement uses WASD/arrows or the virtual joystick at about 7.2 speed, with water bounds roughly x=-28..28 and z=12..52. Press E/Build at the dock to exit and place the player just behind the boat. Boat mode opens the Oath Isles archipelago: four small generated mossy/sandy islands in the water, each with stone rocks, a glowing green rune beacon and rotating halo. The islands and exact lessons are: Bell-Heather Isle—small currachs can be carried and launched from rough shores and waves should be read; Basalt Tooth—light boats matter where crews haul craft above the tide; Seal-Song Skerry—island hopping depends on landmarks, tide timing, wind, and local memory; Monkstone Haven—craft knowledge travels through families, fishers, monks, and working communities. When the skiff approaches within beacon range and E/Build is pressed, record that discovery, add 25 score, turn its beacon green, and show the lesson popup. If pressing E in open water, show a message to sail toward a glowing beacon. Display boat-mode HUD text “Island Hop: Oath Isles” and “Lessons found: X/4.” The HUD should match the visual style: top-left title panel reading “Currach Oath” and subtitle “Cinematic Irish craft saga”; a top-center quest panel showing the current quest name and instruction; a top-right materials panel listing Plan, Hazel, Split rods, Ribs, Covering, Tar, Quality, and Score with values; a bottom-left story panel showing chapter/story text; and a small bottom-right “Oath Isles” map image/panel. Use warm cream/gold typography with a Celtic/old-book title face and modern bold sans-serif body text. Keep lesson and crafting panels centered near the bottom and hide them when inactive. The initial quest should instruct the player to meet Aedan at the rune board and study the ancestral currach plan. Show chapter labels progressing from “Chapter I · The Storm Oath,” through “Chapter II · Bones of Hazel,” “Chapter III · Skin and Stitch,” “Chapter IV · Black Hull Rising,” and on win “Chapter VI · The Crossing.” Include subtle click and wood-impact sounds and quiet atmospheric Celtic exploration music that starts after the first user interaction. Provide Reset to restore all inventory, progress, score, quality, discoveries, player position, pickups, and boat state. Expose a game state API equivalent to getGameState/setGameState containing player position, boat active/position/discoveries, inventory, completed steps, nearby station, active work/progress/needle/hits, score, quality, won, and active lesson.
