Make your own game

Cozy Cove was built by daratik10 with the Cinevva game creator: describe the game you want in chat, watch it get built, and play it in your browser minutes later.

Remix Cozy Cove opens the real game in the creator and forks its actual files, chat and design doc, so you start from the code rather than from a description.

Read the build brief for Cozy Cove

Cinevva's analyzer read this game's design doc and its source, then wrote the brief below. "Make your own" hands it to the game creator as your opening message, so you start from a real spec rather than a one-line idea.

Create “Cozy Cove,” a bright, cozy casual 3D/2.5D island life-sim viewed from an elevated angled perspective. Render a small round grassy island floating in a blue-water disc, with a pale sandy rim, a few faceted cute trees, tiny colorful flowers, paths, and three distinct suburban-style resident buildings. Use a soft, cheerful low-poly look with Kenney-style blocky character and building assets, pastel colors, soft shadows, light blue sky/fog, and friendly rounded white translucent UI panels. The camera should use an orbit control: mouse/touch drag rotates around the island, with zoom limits and no panning. Clicking/tapping a resident building or their resident chip opens that character’s apartment room; an Island button returns to the island. In island view, show a top pill HUD with Menu, Island, coin count (start at 40), community happiness percentage, Unlocks, and Hide. A left “Island check-in” panel titled “Cozy Cove” lists all residents as clickable chips with emoji avatar, current request text, and average need percentage. The three residents are exactly: Miso 🍙, an easygoing optimist who collects tiny spoons and says “tiny triumphs!”, favorite food sushi rolls, living in Miso Nook; Juniper 🌿, a gentle daydreamer who talks to houseplants and says “leaf it to me!”, favorite food cake with berries, living in Juniper Loft; and Orbit 🛸, a quirky inventor who writes poems about toast and says “beam me a bagel!”, favorite food anything round, living in Orbit Pod. Give them distinct pastel colors and blocky avatars. Each has hunger, style, room, and social needs, mood, friendship, a dream with milestone progress, room furnishings, and a short memory album. Needs slowly decay while playing; lower needs reduce mood/community happiness. Generate each resident’s request from their lowest need: food request such as “is dreaming of a snack,” clothing request “wants a fresh look,” décor request “room needs cozy energy,” or social request “wants to meet someone.” Show a thought bubble with a simple colored request icon above the resident in their room.

When a resident is selected, switch to a cozy apartment room: a rectangular floor, three pastel walls tinted by the resident color, a round rug, resident blocky avatar, and their starting furniture. Show a right-side Resident panel with personality, catchphrase, favorite food, bestie status, colored progress bars for hunger/style/room/social, current request and reward description, three dialogue buttons (“That sounds fun!”, “Tell me more.”, “What if toast was a hat?”), four quick actions (“Give food,” “Try outfit,” “Decorate,” “Introduce”), a dream progress bar, and memory album. Dialogue choices increase mood/social and award a few coins; the toast joke should be especially effective for Orbit. The matching quick action fulfills the current request, improving the relevant need and mood, awarding coins, advancing the dream by one milestone, adding a timestamped memory, and generating a new request. A mismatched food/clothes/decor action should give a smaller benefit and coin reward while leaving the requested category active. Introduce the selected resident to the other resident with the lowest social need, pair their friendship, improve both social needs and moods, and reward the selected resident.

At the bottom, show a rounded white translucent “Drag gifts into room” inventory tray with the hint “food • clothes • décor.” Starter items are Sushi 🍣, Plant 🪴, Lamp 💡, and Cap 🧢. Drag an item card with mouse or touch into a position in the room. Décor items are placed at the drop location and remain in that resident’s room; food creates a sushi-like food prop and clothing changes the resident’s outfit/color. Any gift rewards the resident, with a larger reward when its category matches the request. If dragged outside a room, show a message telling the player to visit a room first. Include a Gifts floating button when the tray is hidden. Add an Unlocks shop opened from the top HUD: spend coins earned from helping residents to unlock Sofa (75), Cake (55), Coat (60), and Beach (110), displaying item type and coin cost; start with the four starter items unlocked. Unlocks should immediately appear in the gift inventory. Include Menu/close controls and a Hide/Show UI clean-view mode that hides the panels and most HUD so the player can admire the island or room.

Use rounded Nunito-like bold typography, pastel blue/green/pink/mint/gold/purple accents, white translucent panels with blur, large pill buttons, soft shadows, rounded progress bars, small toast notifications for rewards and status messages, and responsive mobile layout. Include subtle click sounds, idle character animations when available, gentle lighting, and continuously animate the scene. Keep the overall presentation calm, playful, uncluttered, and grounded in the visible island/apartment interaction loop; do not add combat, timers, inventories beyond the listed items, or unrelated gameplay systems.
