Make your own game

Cosmic Ki Saga was built by William with the Cinevva game creator: describe the game you want in chat, watch it get built, and play it in your browser minutes later.

Remix Cosmic Ki Saga opens the real game in the creator and forks its actual files, chat and design doc, so you start from the code rather than from a description.

Cinevva's analyzer read this game's design doc and its source, then wrote the brief below. "Make your own" hands it to the game creator as your opening message, so you start from a real spec rather than a one-line idea.

Create a browser-based single-player text RPG titled “Cosmic Ki Saga,” an original anime-inspired cosmic martial-arts progression game (use original names and labels, not copyrighted characters, artwork, or scripts). The game is primarily a UI-driven choice RPG rather than an action game: the player reads a current event, chooses dialogue/actions, trains, travels, hunts wish orbs, develops relationships, learns techniques, unlocks transformations, and spends Training Points (TP).

Use a dark navy/indigo sci-fi fantasy interface with a subtle star-speckled background, glowing cyan, purple, gold, green, and pink accents, rounded translucent cards, thin blue borders, soft shadows, and bold futuristic sans-serif typography. On desktop, use a three-column layout beneath a top header: left character panel, central event/action panel, right progression and logs panel. Make it responsive so the columns stack on narrow screens. The header reads “Cosmic Ki Saga,” with the subtitle “An original text RPG about ki, rivals, wishes, forms, and choices.” Include five local save slots in a select menu and Save, Load, and Delete buttons using browser local storage.

The left column contains an Avatar card with a large CSS-generated fighter portrait: a simple glowing humanoid with a circular skin-colored head, dramatic spiky hair, gradient martial-arts body/gi, aura glow, and optionally a curved tail for the Saiyan-style race. Color the portrait based on race; show a damage overlay at low health and update the caption for base form, active transformation, and stacked technique. Below it show a Character card with rows for Race, Alignment, Era, Location, Master, Level, TP, Health, Weighted Gear, and Gravity. Initially show an unchosen race, alignment “For Myself,” Origin Arc, “Earth - Mountain Road,” master Self, level 1, TP 0, health 100/100, Tier 0 gear, and gravity 1x. Add a Stats card for Power, Speed, Endurance, Ki Control, Technique, and Spirit with numeric values, horizontal progress bars, and an Upgrade button for each. Initial stats are Power 1, Speed 1, Endurance 1, Ki Control 0, Technique 0, Spirit 1. Upgrade costs are 10 + current stat value × 8 TP. Level only increases when every stat is above the current level; explicitly display that events do not directly give free stats.

The center column begins with a large Current Event card. At the top show a generated CSS-art scene panel with abstract glowing circles, gradients, and colors that vary by event: the opening image has a large orange orb/sun and a smaller cyan orb over a blue-black cosmic background; conversation/travel scenes use cyan/orange/green motifs, training uses gold and striped energy, combat uses pink/cyan bursts, and wish-orb scenes use a green dragon-like energy glow. Under the image show event title, explanatory story text, dialogue boxes with speaker names, and a vertical set of large choice buttons. Choice buttons are color-coded with green left borders for good choices, gold for neutral/self-interested choices, and pink/red for evil choices, with smaller consequence text below each label.

Begin with the event “Choose Your Race.” Explain that the mortal fighter is not a god, angel, destroyer, or deity, starts with one strange glowing wish orb, has no ki blasts, and that race determines transformation branches and quest requirements. Offer five selectable races: Earthling (“Balanced, fast learner, strong relationships, technical mastery.”), Saiyan-style warrior (“Battle growth, tail route, Super chain, divine ki branches.”), Namekian-style mystic (“Regeneration, giant form, fusion, mystic healing, dragon lore.”), Frost Clan (“Transforming alien race with suppression forms and golden evolution.”), and Majin (“Chaotic body, absorption, candy beam, purification split.”). Selecting a race names the fighter “[Race] Rookie,” records it in the log, and advances to “The Inventor and the Wish Orb.”

Implement the origin event chain. In “The Inventor and the Wish Orb,” a blue-haired original capsule inventor arrives in a hover-car, explains that the orb belongs to a set of seven and can summon a great dragon granting one wish, and asks for it. Choices: give the orb and join the journey (good alignment shift and strong bond, unlock travel), keep it but travel with her (neutral), refuse and hunt alone (evil shift and solo orb hunt), or ask questions through a modal conversation. Next, in “Road Conversation,” allow good, neutral, and evil statements about what the character wants from power, plus visiting the Mountain Hermit or searching for orbs. The Mountain Hermit event offers weighted physical training, Ki Control meditation, a sparring match, lore about rare masters/skills, and return to the road. Training and fights grant TP but do not raise stats automatically; training can reduce health.

The spar event should offer clean/adaptive fighting (+20 TP and bond), self-focused fighting (+22 TP), or a dirty/cheap-shot approach (+25 TP, evil shift, bond loss), with health damage and return to the hermit. Training TP should scale with weighted gear, gravity upgrades, time chamber status, and a small Ki meditation bonus. Include Rest in the action wheel to restore 25 health up to maximum.

The center panel’s Action Wheel must contain eight large buttons in a 4-by-2 grid on desktop: Train, Travel, Wish Orbs, Relationships, Skills, Forms, Rest, and Gear. Train opens the hermit event. Travel opens a planetary travel board with Earth, a Namek route requiring Ki Sense or the inventor’s scanner, a Divine World requiring level 5, optional side stories, and a back option. Optional routes include a Shadow Star side story requiring level 4, a Mini Realm side story requiring a relationship/guide, and a Movie Rift patrol. Wish Orbs opens an orb-hunt event showing “You have X/7 Earth wish orbs”; tracking requires the inventor or Ki Sense and awards an orb plus 12 TP, ambushing another seeker is an evil risky option, and collecting all seven opens a modal with safe wishes: reveal a hidden master, heal/restore, or awaken a potential route. Wishes reset the Earth orb count and must not replace training.

The right column contains four cards. First is “Progression Map”: before race selection it says “Pick a race to reveal your map.” After selection, show race branch pills and a list of relevant transformation nodes. Locked nodes are dimmed and say “Unknown Form” with their requirement; available nodes show TP cost and an Unlock button; unlocked nodes have green tint and Activate/Deactivate controls. Include race-specific/original transformation progressions and requirements: Saiyan branches such as Oozaru, Super 1, Super Grades, Mastered Super, Super 2, Super 3, Golden Oozaru, Super 4, Divine Ki, Crimson God Form, Blue God Form, and custom Blue tiers; Earthling Potential Unleashed; Namekian Giant Namekian and Orange Awakening; Frost Golden Form and Black Eclipse Form; Majin Pure and Purified forms; and a general Divine Ki path. Costs and gating should follow this progression: TP costs range roughly 25–220; Super forms require increasing stats and prior forms, Mastered Super requires the time chamber, Divine Ki requires the divine arc or level 5, divine forms require bonds/ki, Earthling potential can be opened by a wish or spirit, and race-specific forms require the appropriate race and stats. Activating a form changes the portrait caption and aura/hair colors; stacked techniques can appear in the caption.

The second right card is “Known People.” List original figures including Capsule Inventor, Desert Bandit, Ox Heiress, Mountain Hermit, North Star King, Crimson Mentor, Angel Attendant, Destroyer Cat, and Universe Sister. Unknown people should display as “Unknown Person,” with “Unknown · Bond 0.” Meeting someone changes their status to Known and tracks bond from -100 to 100. The Relationships action opens a modal where the player can talk for +2 bond or begin romance once bond reaches 25. Keep relationship status and optional romance flags visible.

The third right card is “Techniques.” Start with learned “Basic Fighting.” Show unknown techniques until requirements are met, then allow spending TP to learn them and reveal the mentor: Ki Sense (Technique 1), Ki Blast (Ki Control 1), Afterimage Step (Speed 3), Kaioken (Spirit 4 and non-evil), Instant Shift (Technique 5), God Bind (Divine Ki), Ultra Instinct Sign (Technique 8 and Spirit 8), Mastered Ultra Instinct (UI Sign and Technique 10), Destruction Energy (Spirit 7 and not strongly good), and Ultra Ego Method (Destruction Energy and Power 10). Certain advanced techniques can be toggled as a stacked technique, visibly changing the avatar caption.

The fourth right card is “Quest Log.” Include initial quests: “The First Wish Orb” Active, requiring talking with the Capsule Inventor; “Learn Ki Control” Locked, requiring training with the Mountain Hermit; and “Blood of the Warrior” Locked, Saiyan race only. Below show a Recent Log with the newest twelve story/training actions, such as the starting message “Your story begins with one glowing wish orb in your house.”

Include modal overlays for conversations, requirement failures, notifications, and wishes, styled as centered dark blue panels with rounded borders and action buttons. Preserve the game state in memory and localStorage, including race, alignment, era, event, stats, TP, health, relationships, known techniques, forms, equipment, orb inventory, quests, flags, and log. The overall experience should feel like a polished, readable dark cosmic RPG dashboard with meaningful branching choices, visible locked progression, and original text-driven saga building rather than real-time combat.
