Make your own game

Bread Dash was built by player1 with the Cinevva game creator: describe the game you want in chat, watch it get built, and play it in your browser minutes later.

Remix Bread Dash opens the real game in the creator and forks its actual files, chat and design doc, so you start from the code rather than from a description.

Read the build brief for Bread Dash

Cinevva's analyzer read this game's design doc and its source, then wrote the brief below. "Make your own" hands it to the game creator as your opening message, so you start from a real spec rather than a one-line idea.

Create a browser-based 3D endless runner titled “Bread Dash.” Use a Three.js-style perspective camera behind and slightly above a small 3D loaf of bread, looking forward down a long straight bakery-colored road. The scene has a clear light-blue sky with matching distance fog, soft bright daylight, ambient hemisphere lighting, and directional shadows. The road is a wide pale golden/tan plane extending into the distance, bordered on both sides by raised orange-brown curbs/rails. Put a dashed cream-white center line down the road. Keep the minimalist low-poly/softly shaded look shown: simple geometric obstacles, warm bakery colors, no detailed environment beyond the road and sky.

The player is a small detailed loaf model near the bottom center of the view, initially in the middle of three fixed lanes at x positions approximately -2.5, 0, and 2.5. The loaf continuously runs forward while the world moves toward the camera; keep it near z=3.2 and move spawned objects toward increasing z. Smoothly interpolate the loaf horizontally to the selected lane. Allow three-lane dodging: keyboard Left/A moves one lane left, Right/D moves one lane right, and horizontal swipe or tapping the left/right screen regions does the same. Clamp the player to the three lanes.

Add jumping: Space, Up/W, or a tap in the lower-right area makes the loaf jump if grounded. Give it an upward impulse and gravity so it arcs and lands back on the road; while airborne it can clear obstacles. The loaf should have a subtle rocking/rotation animation while running. Collision is based on proximity in x and z and only counts when the loaf is low enough relative to an obstacle. Hitting any obstacle ends the run.

Continuously spawn hazards ahead around z=-34 at randomized intervals that become slightly shorter as the score increases, with a minimum interval around 0.62 seconds. Each spawn chooses one random lane and creates either a chunky red-orange rectangular block roughly 1.45 wide, 1.15 tall, and 1.15 deep, sitting on the road, or a smaller bright red/emissive cube roughly 1.35 wide and deep and 0.72 tall. Move all hazards toward the player at a starting speed around 12, increasing gradually with score up to about 22. Remove objects after they pass the camera. The smaller red cube can slowly rotate as it approaches.

Also spawn collectible golden ring-shaped crumb coins/loops in random lanes, ahead around z=-27 to -37. They float around y=1.45, rotate visibly, and move toward the player with the road. When the bread intersects a coin, remove it and add 12 points. The run score also increases continuously based on travel time/speed (approximately speed * 0.6 per second). There are no lives or attacks; collision immediately ends the run.

Build a simple canvas-based HUD over the 3D view. At the top center show dark brown text like “BREAD DASH [score]”, and beneath it show “BEST [best] • TAP LEFT/RIGHT TO DODGE • TAP LOW-RIGHT TO JUMP”. Persist the best score in local storage. On the initial title state, show a centered cream panel with brown text: “BREAD DASH”, “Tap anywhere to start”, and “A tiny loaf. A big bakery run.” On collision, show the same panel with the heading “CRISPY!”, the current score and “tap anywhere to retry”. Tapping anywhere when not started or after game over resets the arrays, score, speed, player lane and jump state, then starts a fresh run. Support pointer/touch input including horizontal swipes (threshold around 45 pixels), left/right tap regions, and lower-right jump tap. Keep the HUD clean and legible over the road, matching the warm bakery palette and uncluttered arcade presentation visible in the screenshot.”,
