Night House was built by John Morrison with the Cinevva game creator: describe the game you want in chat, watch it get built, and play it in your browser minutes later.
Remix Night House opens the real game in the creator and forks its actual files, chat and design doc, so you start from the code rather than from a description.
Cinevva's analyzer read this game's design doc and its source, then wrote the brief below. "Make your own" hands it to the game creator as your opening message, so you start from a real spec rather than a one-line idea.
Create a small browser-based 3D third-person sandbox game titled “BlockForge Character,” using a clean low-poly/block-built visual style. The scene is viewed through a perspective third-person camera that follows an articulated blocky humanoid from behind at roughly 9 units distance; support mouse-look, wheel zoom, WASD or arrow-key movement, Space to jump, and an on-screen mobile joystick. Use a bright sky-blue background with light fog in the distance, soft shadows, a hemisphere fill light, and a directional sun. Build a large flat green world floor, approximately 70 by 70 units, with a visible square grid across it. Add a centered pale blue-gray square spawn pad approximately 8 by 8 units and slightly raised above the ground. The playable character starts near the edge/back side of the pad at world position approximately (0, 0.02, 8). The character is a simple humanoid assembled from rectangular boxes: a blue shirt torso about 1.05 wide, 1.25 high, and 0.62 deep; a skin-colored cubic head about 0.78 on each side above it; skin-colored segmented arms; and dark navy segmented legs. Both arms and legs should be built from upper and lower rectangular segments connected by pivot joints, giving the figure an articulated Roblox-like block character appearance. Enable casting shadows for the character. Implement third-person movement with approximately 6 units/second movement speed, jump speed 9, gravity -22, and a safety floor preventing the character from falling below the ground. While moving, animate the character procedurally: arms and legs swing opposite one another, with elbows and knees bending; when idle, use only a subtle movement, and while airborne pose both arms somewhat raised/forward and legs slightly bent. The character should face/control relative to the third-person camera direction. Add a simple building mechanic. Pressing the B key, or clicking/tapping a prominent “Build block” button, creates one orange/golden cube directly in front of the player based on the camera’s flattened forward direction. Place it about 2.6 units forward, round its X and Z coordinates to whole-number grid positions, and set its center Y to 0.9 so its 1.8 by 1.8 by 1.8 size rests on the ground. Give each placed block a unique name, make it cast and receive shadows, and keep a count of all placed blocks. Do not add inventory, destruction, enemies, scoring, or win conditions; the core loop is simply moving, jumping, observing the walk animation, and placing blocks. Overlay a fixed HUD over the canvas. In the upper-left, show a dark navy translucent rounded card with the cyan eyebrow “BLOCKFORGE,” the large white title “BlockForge Character,” explanatory text saying “Move the articulated blocky character — arms and legs bend through a procedural walk cycle.”, and a yellow status line initially reading “Placed blocks: 0” that updates after each placement. In the upper-right, show a rounded yellow button labeled “Build block.” Along the bottom center, show a dark translucent pill with the exact control hint “WASD / arrows move · Space jumps · B or Build places a block”. Make the HUD responsive so its margins and typography shrink slightly on narrow mobile screens, while keeping the 3D canvas full-screen behind it.
